As an American, Canada is America that has never lost a war and is part of the commonwealth. My state is up north and I’m 5 hours from Montreal so we have a lot of Canadians where I live. I think Canada is a slightly overlooked country, they are seen as “nice” but in reality if you fight them they will destroy your country. They are famous for never losing a war, something America doesn’t have so if we have a fight with someone and we need help, our brothers from the North is who we have. My “pride” for this country has grown not just because of living up north and being a huge fan of hockey, but because my Grandma really loves Scotland and if we can’t move there, Nova Scotia is where we go.

Decent video (love the Hell March music) but as a retired CAF officer I can only wish this type of propaganda video was more realistic and showed the CAF in a true light. Under funded with old rusted equipment. The CAF was laughed at by American and British forces when we showed up in Afghanistan with our junk.
How is our equipment terrible when the Americans are using worse guns and equipment than ours?

Though as a proud Canadian I love my military, would have joined it, but didn't want to be a peacekeeper, I'll only fight for Canada. I was disappointed that these video didn't show the true potential of the Canadian soldiers (he or she) is trained with the ability to think as well as attack, an American soldiers first instinct is to shoot, while the Canadians is too listen. That why Canadians troops are more successful on the battlefield. We listen to those around us try and learn from the native population and more importantly don't ram a culture down the others throats for most people in this world don't give a rats ass about the American way of life.

Brandon lets look at are strengths as a nation, we are respected around the world as a nation of peace and equality, we are the second largest nation on Earth, we a crammed full of natural resources. As a military we have twelve relatively modern frigates (which have been called floating computers), we are equipped with one of the best MBT, have some of the world best snipers, and are airspace is protected by the best fighter pilots the world can offer. That is are physical force. All the best my friend, from one proud Canadian to another.

I'm joining the Infantry next year (not old enough yet) as a reservist (part-time) right in my hometown. Many people told me that this is the most rewarding job one can ever get. Besides I served five years in logistics 88-93 at 1CFSD on the old Downsview Base before they closed it down. So I did sever my country just as N.A.T.O. was wining the Cold War. Listening to you crowing about how other country's military forces will turn and run when the Canadians show up is laughable. Here are the brutal facts: Canada has 82 gun equipped MBTs. Yup, that's it. A tiny country like Israel has 700 Merkava IVs in active units, while an unspecified number of Merkava IIIs remain with Reserve units and the Merkava III and IV are a far superior tank to Canada's 2A4 and 2A4M. American Forces have received over 8,000 variations of the Abrams, again, a much superior tank to the Leopard. The Canadian navy? Who in their right mind thinks 12 frigates (divided between two distant coastlines) with no support vessels (that can go in a combat zone) can do anything other than tag along and be dependent on another allied nation? If you can't sortie an independent battle group then guess what, you aren't a navy. The RCAF? How many aging CF188 are still flight worthy? Less than 100 and that's counting the ex-RAAF hand-me-downs. Supply and logistics? Combat equipment is useless without fuel, armaments, and spare parts and Canada's supply train would fail to independently meet the demands of a military in combat. I won't even get into the 'woke' nonsense that a man-child like Justin Trudeau would prioritize in the event of war. The individual Canadian soldier is the match of any country's military members but they are poorly served by politicians who would rather spend money on illegal aliens flooding the country or waste money cancelling the previous government's military procurement contracts at great expense.
This guy clearly doesn't know anything about the CAF, but the political views are true. Abrams are honestly terrible compared to tanks like the leaprod and the Challenger. The Canadian navy has plenty of support vessels on both coasts. The Canadian Air Force, a lot of people don't know this, Canada doesn't only have the cf 18 hornet. We do have other jets aswell, granted they are small number of jets. And tf do you mean we are never in independent battles? We are more in independent battles than the US and Brazil combined, clearly doesn't know anything about the military history of Canada smh 🤦
