"Through Any Window" by Willie Wisely (Official Music Video)

Shot in one take (and starring the one-and-only Jenna Fischer ("The Office"), this video shoot was an absolute blast. To make our cues we were running all over the house, over 40 times before getting it right, crawling under tables, inching along walls to not cast shadows, hiding in the staircase counting seconds before our next move, and importantly, trying hide any heavy breathing from all the running around once you were in frame. Move too fast and you make the table jiggle. Move too slow, the entire crew of 15 has to reset, and it's "FROM THE TOP, TAKE #42…".
Lee Kirk conceptualized the video, an unbelievably deep and twisted depiction of the end of a relatoinship, with an out of body reveal at the end, that still steals my breath.
He and Jenna would go on to be married and have a family! Can I legitimately take any credit for that? Man, I hope so. Great people! The whole team that day was a delight. Enormous kudos to John Cabrera who meticulously directed, and magically made those polaroid photos develop faster than is bio-chemically possible. The time and care he put into every second blows me away, and I'm eternally grateful.

I love their podcast, and cherish Pam's (errr, Jenna's ) contribution to the music video. The day we shot this was truly magical. It took us dozens of takes to do it straight through (no edits)!
The song is relaxing, the video is really cool, and Jenna looks beautiful!

I first heard this on one of those “before the previews” ads at a movie theater in 2006. Thankfully I remembered the name of the song and was able to find it later. This has been one of my absolute favorites since!

Here's how I see it: the Polaroids have captured the history of this romance, from it's happy beginning to it's bitter end. But now we're wondering who is watching as the couple spends their final moments together? And who is the guy who keeps showing us all these photographs? Turns out it's the guy watching himself allowing this relationship end. Is he helpless or is he guilty? We don't know. His own ghost seems angry at the real him if you ask me.

Jenna said on her blog that this video was done in one take (well on the 37th it stuck). She also said they used real polaroids so my guess is they shot them just before Willie got into the kitchen...

How did you contact Jenna and get her to be apart of it?!
Friends of friends from way back. I spent the 90's touring the US and Japan and met a thousand awesome and creative people, which led me to meet Jenna! I wound up doing music for her Lollilove film as well. Funny stuff.
