We finally started to get real signs of spring now, and I got some energy and inspiration to go down to the lake and make an ice hole so that we can boost ourselves with some refreshing ice baths now as the spring is unfolding. This was such a beautiful and needed weekend.

When Johan called you while you were digging an ice hole in the pouring rain to make sure you’re alive and to say that you are missed, was such a beautiful moment. And even more beautiful when you said that the rain feels so good. That’s our Jonna 🥰 I’m so happy you both followed it with an evening together in the sauna/ice bath. It was truly magical.

So beautiful! We had a daytime moon today and the 2 yr old kept screaming moon moon ! She was so excited to see the sun and moon together. We had to come inside. today though we had a little taste of summer at 86 f ! 😮 The bees were looking for water and wanted to sting the children so we came inside and ate ice cold fruit to cool off. Its raining tonight so maybe the bees wont be so angry tomorrow. Im so curious about ice baths. How deep are they? Is there grass or sand on the bottom? Can small children or pregnant ladies go in them or is it not safe?

Looking forward to summer? Not all of us! Not most of us who live in Texas---where we get months of blazing hot sun, no rain---and temps of 100-115 every single day! The MOST miserable time of year here. It's already starting to creep up to those high temperatures. If only our beautiful Spring could last longer :(

Oh my God!!! This is the real happiness, real life, sacred Spring energy ..when every sound, every phenomenon is so charming and penetrates deeply into the soul... A Canadian goose screams as loudly as if it were the size of half a lake! Those crazy fox screams - I love them! You are both so beautiful that the Setting Sun feels that it is not in vain that it shines into this world where there are such people living, feeling and loving so truly!

Here in Germany, the foxes have their relationships in deep winter, now they have puppys.
It would be nice to know if its different there.
I'm the same way with winter turning back into spring. Winter is SO hard on me. The low light and darkness make me feel half-alive, depressed, and I struggle to keep going. In spring, I feel like I can feel the earth coming back to life inside of me, and it brings ME back to life, too. The green grass and leaves appearing on the trees, the wildflowers, the birds singing, the daylight lasting so much longer! I wish we didn't have to have winters. Some people don't mind the frigid cold and darkness, but I hate it.
Currently nursing my 5 week old baby, your videos make my day during postpartum. Thank you Jonna.
Enjoy these baby days, despite the exhaustion and shortage of sleep - I wondered how I ever needed 7 hours sleep after mine were born. Carpe diem. They pass all too quickly.

Stunning setting; that snow goose flying over was wild. You guys are blessed to live there, despite the winter hardships. We need the downs to appreciate the ups. My town is quite hilly which I curse sometimes but if it were flat, it'd be so boring & I'd not appreciate the magnificent views without any 'up'. Another beautiful vid, Jonna. Spring is always my favorite time of the year. It is like new life restarts everywhere and everything is so green and beautiful. It invigorates the mind and soul and brings us back to life as well. It's magical.

All the best to you! I know what you are going through as I moved to Germany for work after finishing my university (I studied Germanistics). My heart is thorn between my homecountry and West Germany. It's not easy at the beginning of your adulthood but this short period of hard work at the beginning will make your adult life so much better. Don't doubt in yourself and don't give up. Follow your own way no matter what, don't give up on your true wishes just because the society expects you to follow a certain path. Switzerland waits for you!
