Straighten Out or PULL IN???

When a long barreling section at Padang presents itself, what would you do? A solid swell unloaded on the Bukit, but the angle caused Padang to have some tricky end sections. Many of the surfers were not able to navigate

I think the worst thing you can do on a wave like this is to straighten out and get washed into the shallow reef. Dude could have bottom turned and dove under the wave if it looked like it was going to close out. Would have saved some paddling.

Agreed. And you run out of water pretty quick at this spot
