So I decorated my in-laws huge 50th wedding anniversary party. I told my Mother in law that I was going to use lots of dollar tree diys and stuff and she was so skeptical and visibly concerned 😂 BUT it turned out amazing and everyone could not believe that I used dollar tree stuff! I got some great ideas from your channel and (of course) Pinterest. I ended up decorating a huge church space with seating for 50 for around $100. 😉

The candle arrangement looks very expensive, one would never know that all items were from DT. They tray was nice too.
My favorites are the gold plate with candles and the snowy scene with the houses. They all turned out so pretty.
I love every project. The three candle arrangement was probably my favorite. What a creative way to use those wooden snowmen as feet for the charger. I also like the countdown to Christmas charger too.
I like the black and white plate with the handles and the cookies for Santa plate 👍🤗❤️

So . . . . . I teach art classes, but have never thought of painting my own chargers - DUH! THANK YOU for opening my eyes. Your ideas are wonderful, and I now realize I can have the chargers I want for FAR less cost, and because they are probably very thin, I will be able to have several sets. My 1917 house was built with tiny rooms and no closets, so these will answer the storage AND design dilemma. And what fun to create EXACTLY what I want.
It occurred to me that decoupaging detailed images onto chargers, then sealing them with layers of spray varnish might answer some people's problems, if their painting skills aren't up to snuff. I also thought of using fabric as a decoupage item to achieve the look I would want in some cases. I saw some great "plaid" chargers in soft fall colors in a Williams Sonoma Thanksgiving ad, but they are no longer available, and some marble ones ($50) so I guess I will have to use my faux painting skills to make my own! Lucky me that I ran across your inspiring channel. You have hauled me out of my rut! Thanks a million. Can't wait to see what you have done in your other posts. You are an inspiration!
The candles and picks was my favorite. The plate for Santa was my second favorite.

I really like the candle arrangement. I would like to see some of these done without vinyl. You mentioned using a paint marker and then sealing it, but never saw that shown how to do it ourselves.

So hard to choose! The tray with handles caught my attention, will be great to give as gifts with like a cake mix, spatula, pot holders and towels, etc. And wrap in cellophane and a bow. Could also do the peppermint candy.
My sister bought a bunch of these plates years ago and painted winter scenes on them for her staff!

These are ideas that can be worked on all year round so they’re ready for the following Christmas. Instead of Tupperware parties have a decoration party on a boring evening. Drinks & snacks just as any other party. I stock up on supplies as soon as they hit the shelves. I go to each dollar stores in my area as you will find different decorations to use It’s the same as gifts I start in April as alcohol, jewelry, clothing, bath products , toys & blankets & cans of nuts can be wrapped early & tucked away. This gives you the extra time wrapping the gifts beautifully & saves you the stress of money being spent at Christmas time. By Christmas time you should only have food products to buy & wrap.

They fit the round mirrors perfectly. I etched a design on the mirrors with etching cream, and then stuck them to plates.

Loved all the diys, but my favorite was the centerpiece with the 3 candles. TFS your creativity.
I like them all. The 'Treats for Santa' plate brought back some memories of when our kids were little -- We told them that Santa got milk and cookies everywhere else, so we were leaving him beer and pretzels! Better believe that plate was empty when the kids checked it in the morning! Also remember stomping carrots on the steps and porch late at night to show that the reindeer had been there and enjoyed their treat. Thanks!

Yes, check craft stores too for different patterns and prints. They may be a $2-$3 instead of $1 but check sales too. Hope the one you want pops up in your store sometime though!

They are pretty large! Which, like you said, is good but hard to make room for them all. Maybe different ones for different holidays? Then you can put one out and change it from season to season?
