That intro is very AC/DC. Interesting direction to go with. This demo process of My Chem has always intrigued me, the songs definitely aren't as dark as the finished product. Needless to say, they're still my all time favourite band to this very day.
Maybe not as dark, but the rawness in the demos kind of counteracts that. Listen to Mama, the demo is raw af
Personally the demos feel darker to me (probably because I'm so attracted to the rawness and pure emotion)

With the bit at the start and the rawness, it feels like I'm listening to a live concert
I think the final version of Disenchanted fit better in the context of the whole album, but this is absolutely amazing.

I remember the live recording of this that leaked back in late 2005/early 2006 (I think more late 2005, though, when they were doing a tour here in the UK), way before the album was released, and it was just like this demo.
The title was "Shut up and Play", too!

They aren't coming back, but their music will always be here for the MCRmy, whether they were fans when bullets came out or fans after the breakup. The music will be there through tears and through laughs, bringing friends together. When Gee said MCR will never die he was right, because there are still people who listen to them, and become inspired. I probably would never have started playing music without MCR, and been introduced to many other amazing bands. I know they won't see it but thank you for making music, Gerard, Frank, Ray, Mikey. You are true heros. (Sorry there was no tl, dr sentence for this)

I love the line 'If you believe that I'm gone then this never meant nothing to ya' because it ties in with the whole idea thing, mcr isn't gone, it is carrying on in the heart of fans and the guys so it's not gone, it's just not fully there anymore
i heard them play what ended up becoming Disenchanted when I was 14 at one of their Revenge shows, but it was acoustic. Great memory.
