    Doc, I was watching some of your earlier videos and came here to make this comment on a more recent video. You made a statement a few times about not liking your head bald but don’t have any other option because of the alopecia. I get it, it’s your head and you have what you have. Not many people actually look great with a bald head. A lot look good, but not great. You my friend happen to look great as a cue ball, lol!! I’m clowning with the branding, but I’m serious about the comment. I’m now looking around at the possibilities for myself and your vids have been great info. But if I shaved my head bald it would look like some land torn up after a ground war, lol. It’s rare to have a fittingly bald head and yours happens to be one of them. Figured I would shoot my opinion over to you. Thanks for the great info!!👍🏻😎👍🏻

    In Turkey they do it this sharp angles, it doesn't work with Europeans.

      I did mine in Turkey. They didn't give me sharp angles. I think it depends on the clinic.

    Is there a later stage where lighter, thinner hair is transplanted, particularly at the receding temples?

    Dear doc, what I'm wondering is what kind of criteria help you determine exactly how you make choices for hairline design. You talked about the tendency in your practice to create rounded corners. Do you have different applications of this practice to different face shapes? How do you go about hairline design?

    • @George-nv1ri
      @George-nv1ri Před 2 lety +4

      As a hair transplant surgeon I can tell you that the key things to get a natural hairline are:
      1. Irregularities in the placement, few hairline are poker straight
      2. Mix of density, its better to put good density in the front and then lower behind, the obvious HT comes when the frontal hairline has sparse density creating the pluggy effect
      3. Age appropriate hairline, you will have this forever and a juvenile hairline will look strange, best to create some "natural" looking recession in the transplanted hairline
      4. The clients original hairline prior to balding or just at the start, photos determine what you looked like before

      @@George-nv1ri thank you for enlightening me, very sensible points! A possible "pluggy" or artificially straight hairline is what scares me most.
      I wonder if surgeons like yourself relieve patients with 3D or photographic simulations of what could be potential results, but nonetheless I will look for a surgeon in my country that pays attention to the points you mentioned.
      Thanks again.

      @@downo not a problem, visualisations are difficult at this stage as none appear close to the finished product however the best measurement is previous clients! A good surgeon will have many pictures of before and afters and you can select one you think looks good and ask for a similar hairline.

    I think hair transplant on male looks bad. Every time you see one you can tell and it looks unattractive. One time I’ve met an older guy with many plastic surgery’s and he looked scary.
