- Second and final half of Ghouls 'N Ghosts... since its very similar to the first half but with a powerful weapon, I'm significantly more off topic this time round. There's some brief discussion about Mega Man Revolution and Quint's Revenge 2 in here, basically.

Ghost and Goblins, they only series that forces you to play it twice. Also love how the arcade version gives the Princess' Bust, Waist, and Hip measurements.
All things considered, I think being able to beat this game in under an hour is still pretty laudable. Nicely done!
Something about the vibe of this game feels really nostalgic, even though I didn't have this one as a kid.
Also, like the sona!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates programming menus.
Still amazed to beat this game with your hands still in bad shape. I'd probably have a hard time *with* my mostly good hands.
after loop one i stated nope i'm done i beat the game , great work ace take care
Wow, Bracelet REALLY shreds bosses. XD
Also, can relate. Menus are an odd beast at best. :/
I'm not a fan of games that makes you use a certain weapon just to go fight the boss. But I hate it more when you have to clear a game on one credit to even attempt the final boss (Touhou 1-5 just to name a few games) or just to unlock the extra stage (Also Touhou to name a series)
Ghost n Goblins one of my prefer videogames since I play on a emulator since kid. But the game is so hard as heck
The game forcing you to play it again to truly finish it is such a poor design choice.
It is! Yeah, a bit of an arcade hold over really. At the very least this game is still fairly short, and in this game the 2nd Loop's Power Weapon results in a real power-trip, especially against bosses, so I can at least forgive this one a bit.
Do wish there were more enemy placement changes than just the one vulture in Level 1, heh.
The changes between Loop 1 and 2 in easy mode are much more pronounced.
And yeah, the game is hard for a lot of bad reasons.
