A Spyro Reignited Trilogy style remake for the original Sly Cooper Trilogy would be amazing. I remember I beat sly 2 in the middle of the night and when the "go outside" popped up I was like "my mom would beat my ass if I do that so no thanks." Lol
They did rerelease the first three games on ps3 and you can stream it on PS4/5.

As someone with an unused game art degree who was taught Flash and Actionscript (in 2010 no less), that comment about the Flash courses Ellen took hit hard. I feel you, Ellen
I didn't take courses, I learned what I learned of it from the (horrible) tutorials and a lot of googling... although I was probably using Alta Vista at the time. I did manage to make some animations, but it's been so long I probably wouldn't be able to pick it back up again. And now, it doesn't matter anymore.
I... may have done the Saints Row 4 thing. Regrettably. That licking noise is still seared into my brain.

IIRC the thing with Ghosts 'n Goblins is that in order to win for real you need to reach the final boss while equipped with the shield weapon that fires crosses. Beating the boss with anything else just nets you another round of NG+.
And some of the updated versions, you also needed golden armor, which sucked cause it only drops in a few areas of the game.
As I recall Super Ghouls and Ghosts does something similar. After beating the last boss, you get sent back to the start with some kind of amulet. It has a shorter range than even the basic spears and I don’t think you can get it back if you pick up any of the other weapon drops, so you have to carefully avoid even touching them as you repeat all 8 zones 😢
A warning about the Candy Cane Door, do NOT try this in real life.
Once, I bought one of those massive jawbreakers and licked it for about an hour or two until I gotten halfway through it... and stopped once I noticed my tongue had started bleeding profusely from excessive licking.
I did that when I got a massive jawbreaker as Disney World when I was like 8. I still managed to finish the thing, but it took ages and yeah, I made my tongue bleed. Fun time.
Yep, can confirm, a bleeding tongue is not fun when mixed with peppermint.
The next candy canes I'll ever get will be chocolate ones.
@@melodysymphonystar My aunt sent me one of those big candy canes for Christmas and apparently it has chocolate in the middle. I really prefer the regular-sized ones and those I end up getting the point super sharp, which I usually end up accidentally stabbing my tongue with anyway.
My brother likes candy canes and the church I live close to gives us candy every Christmas. One of them being a comically large candy cane. Guess who ate that bastard?

The fishing in Zelda has a heart piece as a reward, most players would play it just for that.
That segment with Saints Row and the candy cane make me glad I watched the video with a pair of headphones on, other people would probably look at me funny if I hadn't.
The noises are... worryingly horny. And I don't think eating a candy cane that size would be 'refreshing', I think you'd develop some kind of trauma response to the scent of peppermint after that. Thank god for unscented toothpaste, I guess.

That's just a very subtle roasting of Nero being so damn similar to Dante in DMC4. Oxtra, as true professionals, are critizing DMC4 for basically making Nero a DMC3 Dante's knock-off, not giving him his proper motivations aside from boring girlfriend Kyrie, and not properly showing his growth as a character.

To be fair you can still collect undead bone shards on NG+ so the porcine shield is effectively free in new cycles
when i went to NG+ i was like: "dang i have so many of these. wait, i can get a shield with a pig on it!? sign me up!" and then i never used it cause it sucks.
I did a no estus run once, so this was the only shield I used, naturally
Yeah and there is like 15 available a run unless you picked it up in a past run

11:07 I f***ing love fishing in video games. If a video game, ANY video game, has fishing in it, it is automatically elevated in my book. When I found out FE3H had fishing I was like hell yeah, let's go! Fishing even elevated Hades for me to an 11/10, since it was already a 10/10 without it. I even bought one of those VR fishing games for my Quest. I don't know what it is about it that just clicks in my brain, but video game fishing is my jam.
And don't even get me started on the hype when Skyrim announced the fishing update, omigosh

Sly cooper reminded me of something I saw in THPS2. When you complete THPS2 the end text says "...and now go outside and skate" which is what i did and started skating which was the best decision I ever made in these times. So not all mocking Game endings are this bad, some lead to a very good time.

The only time when you should get the Porcine Shield is when you've reached NG+ and have gone over the maximum amount of Bone Shards that you can use.

OoT fishing was amazing in that if you wanted the bigger fish you had to use actual fishing tactics.
There was an achievement in plants versus zombies battle for neighbourvill where if you do a very hard task of getting every plant and zombie to master rank, you get the achievement called “just go outside” (I think that’s the achievement)
So, how many times did Andy interrupt to... "politely inquire" what was going on while Luke was drawing all the Dante fan art?
Or was there a secret deal: Andy let him draw his Dante Fan Art and in return, Luke allowed him to make his weird Fighting game videos. There's always a compromise...or blackmail...

There was a famous board game that mocked me for trying, it was called Life. Every....single...day.
At least the shopkeeper in ocarina of Time doesn't kill you with a laser pistol for stealing from his shop like the one in the first Zelda game made for the original Gameboy does. You can time his head movement so he isn't looking at you when you get to the door but if you enter his shop again afterwards it will play a scene where you get shoved back out and he comes out of his door, tells you that he warned you not to do it and insta kills you
Never made it passed the first level of Ghost ' n Goblins. I think the stress of actually finishing it would have shortened my life because of the stress and frustration.

This comment reminds me of how many games have vehicles in them, and I find myself judging them based of how good (or horrible) the driving mechanics are. Sadly, that tends to boil down to: if it's not specifically a driving game, the driving is probably awful.
