Nice, I am just finishing up a bolt pistol, the idea behind the bolt could be used here to make a striker type mechanism with some smaller tubing and bar stock to re place the missing bolt

You should put a cheek rest on it for extra comfort, and maybe a little carrying thing for ammo strapped on the stock.
