I have issues whit sensors and stuff ! And I believe I had poor injectors but was not the fact as we test them. It was my ECU that had got messed up some how 🤔 I did run 12miles /gallon. Now as it runs fine I'm have 28 mile/gallon. All common rail sucks ! I love the old pump system. Sure it's more effective this way. But still I'm old school. My truck has 220000km and I'm in general very happy! Its lifted 4" and BF Goodrich T/A tires. It was back the days black smoke a bit now its mostly gone. Great video. I used to do all my own mechanicing and didn't wear gloves. Now I have very sensitive and damaged skin on my hands. Just a heads up Des. I know they are a pain but in years to come... who knows. My Pathfinder might need help one day and your shop will be the first call I make.
Just swapping out my injectors now 07 d40 yd25. Your vid helped plenty. Fuel return rail has to come out to get at the injector clamp bolts, apart from that pretty much same same. Torque settings?

I've just bought a 2009 D22 yd25 Navara and I think it's running too rich compared to what I've heard other people do. Along the highway it drinks fuel too fast. For one standard 75L tank, I'm doing barely 460km. Not sure if that's expected from a car of this age. There's no mis fire or any power loss for as far as I can feel. I've done the easiest fix - the air filter with no conclusion. Could new fuel injectors improve my fuel economy? I live in outback Australia so our highways are pretty consistent here. Strangely it seems to be more fuel efficient on dirt roads than on the bitumen. Not sure if that's a clue also. Thanks for your help

Never had a light on before they did injectors and they just turned light off and knowing it would come back on when I got home to me it's obvious that the two are linked and not coincidence like they suggesting Any help much appreciated Steve
If you’re injectors are faulty this can then burn a heater plug out Its a simple job it’s only £45 for a set of new ones Also you will need 8mil and 12mil deep socket to replace All the very best Des Ps thanks for the compliment 😊

Just watched your injector removal video, I have a xj Cherokee 2.5 TD and I need to test the resistance on injector no. 1 I'm a complete novice and have spent 2k with a garage and did font the cause😬 I since reaserched that the no. 1 injector is the likely cause, my symptoms are the turbo stops boosting at 2000 RPM in every gear in all conditions , I'm so desperate for help as we really love this jeep , I wish we were close so I could simply bring it to you!!! Hi we have a x trail which has excess crankcase pressure it chuffs when oil filler cap is removed im suspecting injector seals as it also has a misfire on tickover what do you think cheers
Hey guys just removing mine at the moment due to excessive oil leak coming from the rear injector on engine. I have the rocker off and can see the injector is covered in oil. I was going to take it out to check the condition of the rings on it but it seems jammed. Any tips for loosening it?

Holy fuck. Then toss the un marked (from which cylinder) injectors carelessly across the cams. No clean rags poked into holes of head to catch stray debris.

Its not her. Shes using the wrong spanners. Nobody in the comments has mentioned it. She should of been using flare nut/ line spanners. And thats why you use them as you saw.

So the technique for removing injectors is using a flat blade screwdriver and prying them out using the cam lobes as leverage 🤔
