Kirk I’m gonna need you to turn your amp up from 5 to 11 and play that again. That’s a killer riff
Def Leppard baby
"But, amps only go to 10?".... "Not this one... it goes to eleven"...
@@JuannyBoyCurtis gran referencia 😂
It’s fuckin Def Leppard
Wasted from Def Leppard’s debut album.
“Kanas City, UK” 💀
I mean Def Leppard from sheffield England
He didn't get the joke....
On through the night, Rob....
@@chrisharding5447 He got triggered, but was trying to be nice about it.
How to say Lars. Shut it down
Rob's nice way of asking, "What are you smoking?"
First three notes I thought Kirk was about to play four horsemen.
Thought I was the only one who heard that part lol
Sounds a bit like million miles away too. Offspring
oh yeah it does😂😂
I miss that authentic Metallica thrash
sound 👍
Monkey descendent for real
Robert setting them straight... once again the bassist the base-ist
Snuff snuff 🎸
😂😂 yup.....
The power of the crab 😂
BASE-ically b(L)asephemy.
@@DreamInfinite-vb8xt you're only sad because Robert's strings are bigger than yours
Can barely hear Kirk's amp 😂
I noticed that every time there's a video of them jamming.
Kirks is barley audible
It's a jam, not gig.. he maybe doesn't like loud guitar in his ear only thru his ear. Leads will be set higher..
@@dragonskulls_4813 meh.. WHEAT ya gonna do??
I think it’s because it’s panned to the right ear which is the tiny speaker on top of your phone
@@Nexus-mo7km That's actually a good shout right there!
Robert’s Bass Tone and finger style are the real highlight of this clip!
Back in the day he played funk😎
@@sandansaiyan5675 Infectious Grooves was tits! Mike wasn’t the best vocalist but the band grooved hard!
@@brodiwheeler7583 exactly!)
No one’s talking about that sick bass riff at the start
Funky style)
Wasn’t really anything honestly
Dude Kirk is the man for that Def Lep riff
Kirk even played a snippet of getcha rocks off in one of his guitar solos in 2015. He should make a guest appearance with def leppard and bring that song back from the dead.
"Def Leppard sucks! You little sissy boy!" - Kid rock as Robby in Joe Dirte (he wasn't lying either)
Kirk couldn't match Vivian Campbell's shoes not even in his dreams
@@JPR17 How would you know?
@@80smusicfan90 because I play guitar and I know how each of one them plays, the scales and technique they use (Vivian is educated in different techniques, modes and scales, a more advanced guitar player and he was the lead player for DIO for a reason). Listen to the Lux Eterna solo. That nonsense is your answer. Plus, using the wah wah pedal excessively to cover mistakes and dirty picking is just lame.
The song is called “Wasted” from their 1st album “ On through the night”
Def Leppards album
From way before their first album.
REEALLLLYYYY! NAAAAHHHH! YOU ARE PULLING MY THIRD LEG!!!😂😂😂😂😂
All the way from kc
Duh!!!!
That Dracula guitar is Fuckkn sick
Rob is a fking beast!!!
I remember his days back with Suicidal Tendencies. He was a beast then too.
He is a great bassist and a phenomenal guitarist... I still remember his Metallica audition video and his face when they offered him a contract and a million dollars to start with Metallica... it was one of the best audition videos I have ever seen.
Lars is waiting for milk and cookies so he can take a nap
He does that as he plays usually. He is usually seen backstage in his pj's and little blue dressing gown being a know it all complaining child, saying sparky things and hogging any camera that comes near.
All the picture needs is a olive leaf headress (tiara in his case) made of gold, Roman red cape and white flowing dress as he lounges back, I bet he wants naked girls to feed him grapes by hand..
Emoeror Ulrich!!
napster
Funny, then some more funny.
Lars is happy Def Leppard doesn't send a copywrite strike to CZcams for playing another bands music. So they don't get the video demonitized.
😂
Kirk loves wasted. It’s not the first time he’s jammed it. Fucking great riff. Steve would be proud
Yup 😿
Who’s Steve ?
@@Taxable_TrophySteve Clark. Wasted by Def Leppard.
@@creativosoy7911 he’s the one who made the riff ?
@@Taxable_Trophy yes sir
The voice of reason at the end 😂
Too bad he can’t use most of his talent in those tunes. I listen to infectious grooves. Some old suicidal.
This short clip is an example of how badass and such a nice guy kirk is iconic as a person at the least.
@@XcoloradokyleXregardless of your opinion of his technical prowess, he is literally one of the most influential guitarists of all time.
@@crankfastle8138No he isn't, the riffs in Metallica that are inspiring people are all James Hetfield riffs. Any average shredder can do what Kirk does. I'm not saying he's not talented, he is but nobody is starting guitar trying to learn the solos. They want to learn the hardcore riffs from James. This is obvious. Sorry to be logical.
@@drewjohnson4794kirk plays some very memorable riffs aswell, the band would not have made it as far without his melody.
@@drewjohnson4794Then you don’t know the And Justice For All album
Lars: “Are they from Kansas City, Def Leppard?”
Casually picks his nose then eats it
😂
😂😂😂
Cocaine is a helluva drug
Booger sugar
Looked like he scratched his nose and then scratches his upper lip.
The awesomeness of Steve Clark and early Def Leppard, when even Metallica are giving you a shout out!
That old school def Leppard was so damn good. On thru the night, and high and dry was the def Leppard I listen to.
@Metal Macabre their best 2 albums!!!
Pete Willis era. It's all downhill from there.
@@deanmays7133 No, only if you only like Stuff heavier than heavyrock. Their later lHard rock phase Was also great
Ah, the times when Def Leppard was actually a hard rock/heavy metal band. The overproduced and poppy sounds of Hysteria was the beginning of the end.
Kansas City, UK? I rewatched this four times just for that 🤣🤣🤣
Tb
Sem.contar no post deles em animação
The way he says it 😅
That's funny I don't believe you research that😂😂😂
Can't blame him for saying that.. he's got the UK flag infornt of him the whole time
@@smoothcriminal7232its actually the Hawaii state flag
"Thanks for stopping, Trujillo.
That saves us from having to turn the bass down instead"
Lars is like “wait a one armed guy can keep timing y can’t I”
Such a dumb comment
The guy making the statement is a bandwagon rider , he doesn't even know why he's saying this , he just needs friends
Why doesn't it surprise me that James is waaay louder than the rest
Except for Lar's snare, which is by far the loudest thing on any metallica record
Right. His ego matches his volume
because he's closer to the camera?
He has to be to drown out Lars constantly whining about crap.
@@stevenbrown9883 what ego? James is a humble man
"Are they from Kansas City?" " Kansas City, UK"
yup. Kansas city, east of Manchester
James and Kirk are the man.
Rob cracked me the fuck up. He’s bloody right…
High & Dry is one of the best albums from Def Leppard. There were young and hungry. Pete Willis kicked ass. Choice songs: Let it go, Switch 625, No No No, Another Hit & Run,
That album kicks major ass
On through the Night,High n dry and Pyromania are in my top 10 favorite albums ever
But the song Kirk plays here is on On Through The Night
I was fortunate enough in the early 00s to see DL in BC. They opened with the first half of High N’ Dry starting with Let It Go right through to Switch 625. Some might call that band suicide not playing to the crowd as a whole, but I heard what I wanted to hear. Awesome stuff.
@@elduderino73 its Wasted
DEF LEPPARD Rocks Off! love the 1st 3 Leppard albums
It’s actually Wasted haha
kirk representing that Hawaiian flag in the background.
Yeah Braddah chee hee pono!!!!
I’m a 93 year old half Japanese half Hawaiian man! Mahalo braddah!!!
That is the way a bass is supposed to sound. Incredible tone.
People should really listen to "Wasted" song from "On Through The Night " Album By Def Leppard . It's one of their Greatest Albums . I would love to hear Metallica Cover some Early Def Leppard Songs on an Album , or in Concert . ☀⭐🌠⚡🌋🙈🙉🙊👄🔥💥😎😉😳😍🤠🤙🤘🤗🤑🙃🤔🙄
I recognized it instantly. Yeah!!!
Imagine hetfield trying to sing Def Leppard and the rest of the band doing those backing vocals.

Def Leppard's "Wasted" :)
These guys are good...they should make an album.
They will. They just need to get their following up first. Then maybe they can sign w a small label.
Maybe one day if they keep practicing. But i think they waited a little to long to start their Rock careers. But never say never i guess. But they're going to have to do something to comp some of they're SS# check money back after renting that studio time😂
Why bother? Someones just gonna steal all their music with Limewire.
Yea people might dig it
I have a weird fcking feeling that if they ever do make an album the snare will sound really crappy and there will be no bass.
Kansas City UK lmaoo
Don’t lose that fckn cell phone again Kirk!
🤣 🔥
Kirk: "You'll get it, you'll get it ;) "
Nevermind Kirk, how about that bass lick Rob was laying down
Kirk seems like such a cool dude. I would love to hang out with him
SUCH an underrated song! Favorite Def Leppard song ever!
Damn that's a great riff.
"Wasted" early 80s
On through the night
the one with the Flat bed tractor trailer with the Monster Les Paul in tow
bunch of kids back then
Pete & Steve were fantastic before they got to pyro
That moment you realize the band you love loves Def Leopard. 😎
Lars is always picking coke flakes
I thought I was the only one that noticed
Our band used to play that song, killer tune!
My favorite riff of all time! Steve Clark was a phenom!
They are quite the jesters.😂great sense of humor.
Lars always touching his nose
Old cocaine habit
Its coke Habit wayback 80s 90s 🙂👌
he's on them pain pills
I always loved that riff and song. Metallica should cover it.
That's a f**kin sick riff
Anytime Kirk does something halfway competent, James seems to look at him in sheer amazement lol

Kansas City, UK. Think I’m gonna have to break out the Def Leppard Viva Hysteria video. 🇬🇧🤘🎸
Love that blue on KirKs guitar . so ol school comics
No they’re from Sheffield.
F*ckin great riff! 1st song I ever heard BY Def Leppard- by the groom's cover band at a wedding reception, early 80s. My folks weren't as impressed as I was
"I've got a bottle of pills to give me my thrills, And I know I'm living a life that kills!" The first time I saw them playing, it had to still be in the '70s, & their guitars looked bigger than they did. They had to be around 16 or 17. "Rock Brigade" was a good one as well.
nothing like a studio session with MetalicA ❤❤
When James hit the strings it immediately sound mindblowingly superb, the best sound that ever comes out from an electric guitar ⚡️
DeffLep really old stuff kicked ass💯 It blows Hysteria away
What song is that?
Daddy Het still has great new riff retention, and the style to respond elegantly. Beautiful moment there.
I’m sure they’ve been playing that riff together for ages. No hate just observation
I feel def Leppard is the only band that gets respects from thrash or heavy metal bands
Diamond Head on Garage Inc
I was not expecting that... Epic Leppard lick there for sure!
These guys jam just like us mere mortals!
I hope they cover it for fun! I’d love to hear their interpretation of that song!
That would be cool. I gotta agree. Just another song they would make their own, somehow.
They should cover this song.
Practice together makes perfect. Awesome, It's always good to see you guys together trying for some heavy tunes!
how Rob puts up with Lars in the lack of rhythm department is beyond me 😉
Like some onesaid before as long as he’s getting paid it’s all good 😂
Probably playing to a click track right?
@@rafaelgonzalez7230 yea im sure Rob gets his kicks on his own time with some world class drummers every now and then

Me and Kirk used to play that riff in his living room way back in the day.
Why? Didn't you have a living room?
No garage?
Me too
@@justincoleman3805 His parents converted the garage into the living room.
What a song, just discovered it and I'm hooked.
They lower Kirk's volume and let him have fun while the rest of the grown ups play together.
The best comment on CZcams😂
Lars is the biggest baby of the bunch. At best he’s a toddler.
@@brokl26 For sure.
Kansas City? What year was this? I may have been at this show.
I’m really tempted to call this “Master of Puppets’s cousin”
Yes def leppard 🤘
Robert's hilarious correction of Lars is the real story here! Total rofl.
All James did was start to learn the riff.
James was playing the guitar counterpoint of Wasted...the James botched Kirk's part!!! ROFL
@@1badsteed Oh fuck, you're right! I've never even heard this song. In fact I didn't know Def Leppard was a band in 1979. Hell I was 8yrs old lols!
I thought kirk pulled that riff out his ass and James was just as you say playing counterpoint to it.
I still like Rob's comment though - richboy Lars thinks he knows everything about sound and music: "they're from Kansas right? duhhh"
Kirk has really blossomed. Solid A+ Cup.
I love def leppard they are my favorite band of all time and wasted was one of my favorites off of on through the night
As a Metal Guitar player, I've always loved how heavy James tone was/is. Can't go wrong with Gibson & Marshall!
You mean mesaboogie and esp right ?
I love Kirk. He is always just fuckin vibin.
Robs comment just made him my favorite metallica bass player
Awesome guys as always
Kirk aged pretty well, meanwhile Lars looks like the old uncle you try to hide the beer from so he doesn't do dumb shit when drunk.
That riff was better than every album they put out after And Justice For All .
Lol huge disrespect and big BS😊
Def Leppard in their heyday had backstage parties that would make motley crue blush
That riff was better than 80% of the riffs they've written in 20 years
@@DerSilvano No, truthy.
Hetfield: Like this?
Kirk: That'll work 👍🏻
Like a crazy version of creeping death
Excellent job guys!!
James headbanging at the end
Def Leppard are from Sheffield, they did a gig a few weeks ago at a club they used to perform at near where I go uni 😂
Kirk, one of the last living legends!! Dude never left the 80s...Rock On!!
My buddies formed a rock band for the HS Talent Show and won. One of the two songs was Wasted. 1981.
I can't believe he said Kansas City I just lost it😂 then dude says Kansas City UK! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The vid is so sick! Just makes me happy when they are!! 🤟
To play killer riff - good
To play painKILLER riff - very good
The beginning was like armored saint
No one knows where Def Leppard is from. They didn't say whenever anyone asked.
I love that Kirk's playing a classic Def Leppard song. I freaking love that. I love both bands.
Waisted from Def Lepard...Killer song!
that bass though
Rob knows his stuff
Old Kirk is looking more and more like young James, at least in the thumbnail for the video.
