      The last time I passed through the central west end, Garry Kasparov was in line in front of me at a Starbucks. It's a surreal place for a long time chess fan. The funniest thing was that Garry reacted every time a name was called, no matter how unlike "Garry" the names were. Every time it was his turn to move.

      @@rypaz87 surreal is a good way to describe it. I played back in the day when we met at grants farm community center. Then we were homeless for a long time playing in bookstores and whatnot. The best player in missouri was IM Michael Brooks. Never in a million years would I have guessed that chess would be so big that you just might see kasparov at Starbucks. Absolutely wild.

      Exactly what I said in my other comments, most of these ridiculous comments and theories are coming from 500-600 rated people.
      The guy that interviewed Hans is a strong GM, all of them in that room are. I’ll teach you something mate, if Hans was let’s say 2000 rated player, these GMs in that room would figure that out after one minute tops. Have you heard them being suspicious on Hans strength? Quite opposite they were discussing positions like GMs do.

      He's a serial cheater who is allowed to continue to play the game that he cheats at and make money, and now he's being celebrated by people for being the world's most famous cheater. I am one of the people who can't stand it, and I'm not alone. He's just like any cheater in any other game or sport. I instantly hate them and hope they disappear from the face of the planet.     There’s no evidence whatsoever of cheating OTB, analysis shows his games were normal in SL.
    All Magnus has is ‘he cheated almost 3 years ago’ ‘his ex coach is a cheater’ and ‘I had a weird feeling in ST Louis.
