I mean… I’m a desert rat. Born and raised in Palm Springs. Been going to Coachella since 2008.. and it’s always been a great time! It’s always been “grungy..dusty” but that’s what it’s about.. by the way it started in 1999 and it is iconic for people who love music. It WAS known for people literally camping out and barely showering to it now being a fashion show. Which takes the fun out if it in some ways. I don’t mind the fashion.. but influencers who complain about how horrible it was because they couldn’t get their picture…don’t even know anything about struggle. People literally save their money just to go and wait in lines! That’s what it’s about. Love you both. Keep it real
THIS! Been going to Coachella since 2001 and I’ve seen the evolution of the festival first hand. I don’t hate on the fashion or influencers that have now made weekend 1 their thing but I take issues with their portrayal of the festival. The majority of people that attend are there for the music and to let loose for a weekend. It’s gritty, it’s a challenge, it’s a blast, and it’s definitely an experience. It’s not for everyone BUT if you’re looking for an organic, stress free, and music focused experience… go weekend 2! It’s a whole different world. Happy Coachella 😎🎉

My husband has gone to Coachella for 12 years now & he says its always a shitshow. He does the full on car camping with his friends for the weekend. I love hearing his stories when he comes back. But yes, the major story this year for GA was that water wasn't available & the merch line took 4hrs!!

I had never heard of the Revolve festival until this year. Coachella definitely
I grew up in SD and I remember my brother would go to Coachella and it was just a normal music festival and he just loved going to watch the bands. But then again I’ve experienced my kids now that I live in Vegas, they’ve gone to EDC several years and they have fun with the whole prep around it. They start ordering outfits months before and then the make up and sometimes wigs…my kids pay a friend to drop them off and pick them up. Since it’s way out at the motor speedway.
You explaining how prepared you are is how I also warn people before going to Lake Havasu to party in extreme heat. One year they got to 120 and my phone screen turned red.
I live in Havasu and yes always need to be prepared when you come out to this type of heat! 😊
Some of my best memories have been with friends going through hell and having to continue to laugh at what we got ourselves into... now years later when we get together it's always brought up and laughed over
What revolve should do is put time stamps on everyone’s ticket. If they miss their bus time it’s truly the individuals fault.

Laura @ 26:50. Same!!! I went to one weekend festival and my biggest concern was the bathrooms and knowing what they would be like by the end of that weekend. I didn't go to the bathroom AT ALL until the last minute before we left. I was so afraid of what those bathrooms looked like when I went in and I ran for my life once I was finished. Salted crackers and bacon helped this happen 😂

Even though festivals can be a shit show, when you are with the right people, it's some of the best times...and obviously makes for great stories to look back on!
Shuttles are always an issue at festivals!! I’ve been to many festivals at the gorge in Washington and with certain wristbands shuttles are provided but only like 3 of them for thousands of people. I’ve ended up just walking back to the campsite cause the shuttle lines are outrageous! You’d think if you’re paying extra to have a shuttle you’d be able to get on one no problem but no:/ they needa make sure they’re getting enough buses cause 3-4 for hundreds of thousands of people ain’t right
