My Husband is Type 2 diabetes and I would like to know if it does help with appetite control. He eats a meal but then is hungry which is how is his sugars get spiked. Is it an appetite suppressant?
My mom is on this medication due to insulin resistance and there’s a shortage for her as well! So rude people are using this for the wrong reasons

As a diabetic myself, ozempic is not for weight loss. It’s meant to control your sugar levels. One of the side effects is appetite suppression, it is an injection. It’s only meant to help your pancreas make its own insulin since it can still make insulin. I was on it for a minute, worked great with my sugar control and suppressed my appetite because the pancreas is making insulin better
same. I have PCOS and was borderline diabetic so I was placed on it. Also, it does not work quick as they mentioned for “weight loss”. It literally takes months. Kinda wish they were more educated on this before stating such things. Some people are on it because they genuinely need it. It’s not dangerous… have people read the side effects of birth control 🤔 lol

There is so much false information about ozempic on TikTok right now so I’m not surprised that Manny & Laura do not have the right info. I do wish they would have done better research before speaking on it. I take ozempic for my diabetes also and thank you for mentioning the facts! It lowers your blood sugar, the appetite suppressant is a side effect of the medication. It does not just happen overnight- you still have to put in the work and eat right. Also I think what needs to be mentioned is it’s not meant to be stopped. I will take it for the rest of my life likely! Once these fully functioning pancreas people stop taking ozempic, they’re going to be issues with that weight coming back if they haven’t changed their habits.

And if someone is sliding up on you now where as before you weren't good enough makes it real easy to weed out the shallow/hollow men that you could never have a real relationship with anyway. I’m a nurse practitioner and this ozempic trend is AWFUL. Our diabetics can’t get this medication bc so many people are using it for weight loss and so it’s back order.

I completely understand that Manny and Laura might not want to cause drama with Jaclyn but was kind of hoping they would mention the KOZE brand issue with Jaclyn... I mean a poor girl had to shut down her business because Jaclyn took the name from her.
I love how Manny brought up his feelings towards guys who are all of a sudden giving him more attention now that he is more fit compared to his past self. It reminds me of the TikToks I've seen from people who were once very overweight and have lost a significant amount of weight. A lot of these people (men and women) talk about how they know that they are treated much differently now by others and it does really impact how they perceive themselves. I think it's definitely an interesting conversation to have because it seems like something really challenging for some people to work through. So grateful for everything discussed on this podcast

You guys are talking about the influencers being embedded with Morphe. But I think that was the actual issue. Their products weren’t very great and all they had going for them was influencers. You can have influencers promoting you all you want, but at some point, your products actually have to be good. Apart from their setting spray, Morphe didn’t have a hero product. Any brand that relies solely on influencers just won’t last. Although we watch CZcams and consume makeup content online, the majority of makeup consumers aren’t part of the online beauty community and don’t care for influencer promotion

@miacharajo, lose the weight YOU want to FOR you only because you deserve to be healthy and live the greatest, best life you can give yourself and you are WAY too good for him if he is that shallow! You will find someone in your best life who will love you for who you are to them and how amazing you are in every aspect and if you say, oh have my story and encounter medical issues that cause a HUGE weight gain, he will still wake up next to you, look you in your eyes and tell you how beautiful you are! I know this because that is MY story and after 27 years and gaining and losing that weight, with gray hair and crows feet he still tells me I am beautiful every day (I tell him his eyesight is going, but he denies this emphatically)! True love sees the beauty always, my parents have been married 70 years and my Daddy still calls my mama babydoll and she is 86 with Alzheimer’s. Hold out for that, you deserve it and you will find it when you love yourself enough to see that love reflected (I was 32 and swore off men after a bad divorce and boom, there he was!!)
