Ours has worked great for months but this week its started working backwards, the installation has not been changed. When you want to lock the door you have to use the pin and turn. When the door is locked all you have to do is press the Schlage button and turn the thumbscrew to get in.
Think he said that meant low battery

The damn strike plate is huge! Doesn’t fit in my door without modification.
I had the same issue. Had to use my old one but at least it works.
Darn --- they should have known what size door you had --- the nerve of them.
He is smiling when he said do not lock yourself out. Whole purpose of electronic lock is to not lock yourself out. So what if battery dies. Daaaaa
