The Congress of Vienna met in 1814-1815 after Napoleon's defeat to create a blueprint for a peaceful and stable Europe. Prince Klemens von Metternich of Austria was instrumental in laying the groundwork for a conservative order that would last for a generation. It would be nearly 100 years before Europe erupted in another major war of Napoleonic proportions.
This video is intended for students of AP European History and Western Civilization, as well as lifelong learners.

The video is bad. First of the kongress of vienna is 1814 - 1815.
The other part is that it was no "European" leaders at this Congress. Each contry sent a delegate or representiv. You can choose which of those worlds you want to use.
But this video is really bad.

I'm 43 and enjoying my bottle of wine here. Also enjoying your videos. I find it's always good to do as much Audio/Video prep work as possible before the heavy duty reading. You can get a real feel for a particular epoch, put faces to the names, get plenty of visuals to help remember all the significant dates and it helps get everything in chronological order. There's so much recent history that's been documented on Audio and Audio/Video with personal testimonials also it seems to help as a reminder that there's always way more than one thing going on all at once with no easy over all narrative or easy answers that explain everything. Quite often there's plenty of events, plenty of confusion and in's and out's that involve so many different groups with so many differnet beliefs it even seems contradictory at times. Love It!! Thanks for the Video's my freind.
