I am thinking of flying with Gulf Air. However, I am slightly worried about the baggage allowance on my app. It's saying 2 x 23kg, and I do not understand if it means I can carry two bags, each weighing 23kg

Your allowance is 2 bags of upto 23 kg each. If you increase weight in any one beyond this, you will have to pay charges even if the total weight is 46 kg. So, please keep it below 23 kg in each bag.

If any bag is more than 23 kg, there will be excess baggage charges to be paid. So, you will have to pay for excess 3 kg you will take in one bag.
