oh yes this will definitely work because elementor has better controls on it's own page builder and assets. I would suggest you to optimize first with elementor and then with LS cache.

hello, so usually it should not break the site. You need to narrow down that which element is broken. also i can recommend you to disable them one by one to identify which element id breaking the site so do not disable that one.
