so cloudflare had page cache feature in premium versions, for free version i is only css, js and images so you will not get benefit. If you are using the paid version then page cache is automatic there

Check the dns resolution time. Did you added cloudflare too in the site?? If not add that too.

Hello it is very normal behavior, make sure the cache is turned off for admin and logged in users to see the quick effect. Also you cna sue cache purge option provided by the plugin to see the changes.
