Thank you, Doctor, for your valuable advice. I have a query: You say that benzalkonium chloride (BAK) is very harmful. Then why is it used as a preservative in allopathic anti-glaucoma eye drops? Shouldn't it be banned? Also what is the option as all medications don't have preservative-free alternatives?

This allopathy Medicine are prescribed under supervision for specialist doctor.. and as doctor said if this preservatives medicine is used for long duration then it will harm .. second for any medicine either allopathy or ayurvedic just follow concern doctor.. don't follow blind advice..
While I haven't verified certificate of this doc, giving few observations assuming he is qualified doc as below-
1. he has clearly mentioned that BAK if used for long term, will hamper eyes.
2. He isn't prescribing or marketing any allopathic eye drop as an alternative.
3. He has not also claimed that he is an allopathic doc, neither he appeared to advocate any allopathic alternative. Rather he is advising that eyes have natural mechanism to counter minor issues.
Disclaimer: Although I agree that there are lots of incidents of derogating Ayurveda and Homeopathic treatments due to Commercial reasons, still I believe that just because a medicine is herbal, doesn't mean it can't have any bad effects on our body. Every natural ingredient has to be taken as per need only.

Not comfortable with glasses, then you should get your eyes checked to see if you're eligible or not.

It's normal to see a few eye-floaters. Eye-floaters do not harm your eye in any way.
With time, they either get settled down to the bottom of the eye or you get used to ignoring them.
If eye-floaters have increased in numbers and causing a lot of trouble in having a clear vision then you should get your eyes checked.

Dr, I saw your video little late. Having faith on Ayurvedic eye ointment was the biggest mistake I made. I paid Rs 475 for an eye troubling ointment named as NAYANAAMRITAM KUZHAMPU from kottakal Ayurveda Kerala. One eye got fully Red and other eye was as troublesome as the first eye but one did not turn red and burning sensation is unbearable. I don't know how they have learnt to play around with patients. Thanks again for this warning and I hope no one takes a decision for such eye ointments.
