Erling Haaland missed a penalty but scored an outrageous goal to add an air of comfortability to the score line, before a late Kimmich penalty for a harsh call on Akanji made it 1-1 late on.

Haaland is really evolving his game. The first touch header back to kdb before his goal. Dropping upamecano to ground and getting very comfortable on the ball. And pep is integrating him more in build up than before.

Mane punching Sane did not happen under Nagelsmann and I don't see how Nagelsmann had problems with Mane except for him having an injury which caused him not to play.

@@EuroFootballDaily Well Muller started 21 and came off bench 4 times this season so he certainly used him. A lot more than Tuchel it appears.Can't have had that many issues if he didn't freeze him out, which Tuchel have been known to do (Tomori, Abraham, Lukaku).

I really worry for us now that Nathan Ake seems to have a muscle injury, he is the defender with the most minutes played this season and his performances for us and Netherlands have been to a high standard so far

if Manchester city can use the same formation and same players beat real Madrid they will win champions League, but Madrid is a treat , Pep must not over think too much, with millan team's we will win does not matter who reach the final
Dont underestimate Italian teams in european competitions. Everytime we do that they win one. They play so dirty and defend well. Might annoy Haaland so he does not have a good game, and then get a good counter attacking goal. A final is a final.
The same formation won't work against Real Madrid. Madrid has clinical players and playing the same formation that saw them concede so many chances I don't see them surviving.
Real-City will be a great matchup. I can’t see either of Milan teams beating City over two legs, but a single game Final is a different thing. I’m a Pep fan, so I hope they finally win.
Pep has learnt how to play dirty to win games. You don't need to play tactically astute at all times 🤭

A note on probabilities:
According to the best odds I could find, the probability of Manchester City winning each competition is about:
- 55% for the Champions League
- 65% for the Premier League
- 55% for the FA Cup
Let's assume that all 3 events are independent, i.e. that the result of one competition doesn't affect the result of another. I think this is fair, but people argue both ways... "Playing in all competitions gives you momentum!" vs. "Therer are too many games so they will have to concentrate on 'this' competition".
With this assumption, the probability of Manchester City winning the treble is only about 55%*65%*55% ~ 20%.
(Also note that, when there are more than 2 teams involved, you can be the favourite to win a competition while being less than 50% likely to win it.)

personally didn't think that man city played all that rough, just a different style based on the circumstances that's so different from what they normally go for. Not caring much for possession or pushing, happy to sit back, play scrappy and toy with bayern. Felt like they opted more for a mental game rather than a physical one and it payed off. Also the handball calls were a joke.

Its amazing how many Bayern players were easily booked with a yellow card which would cause them to miss the first leg against Madrid but Man City got away with multiple yellow cards and were only booked once a foul was so bad that he had to give a card.
