I was at the first ever performance of Tear with Dior outfits, Rose Bowl Day 1 last year and let me say the crowd's hearts stopped when we saw j-hope. TEAR WAS SO HYPE! And the following song was mic drop, hell I had never been so euphoric in my mf life.
I am so jealous, but at the same time I think I would have died on the spot. So so thankful there are some great footages of that particular event
I was also there on the first day and that performance was pure EPIC! Just unforgettable.

Hi, I read that RM said the different words on the hook were based on their different reactions when they had experienced heartbreak - he says tear, because it made him cry, Yoongi's is tear because it was his heart that was torn (if you haven't already, look at the lyrics for his 2nd verse at what he tells the person to do with his heart, it really is heart-wrenching & made me cry the first time I read it) and Hobi is fear, because it made him afraid both to talk about it, and to love again. This is why they put their whole hearts into the live performance, they're remembering the real emotions they had, and for us knowing that these dear boys had to go through that makes us emotional as well. This is my favourite BTS song & what made Hobi my bias, I still get goosebumps every time.

LOL That ending was a blast from the past. I totally agree about J-Hope, he is a born performer. I saw 1 concert where there was a long walkway and he was singing his solo Just Dance and he just walked half way down and the stadium audience were just in the palm of his hand. He was just incredible the presence he had.

The lyrics to Tear are deep. Especially the use of tear in various meanings throughout the verses. This has to be one of the most dynamic performances from rap line. And Hobi at the end is, no words, looked like he was about to catch on fire! I was fortunate to hear Tear live twice and the stadium was on fire!

Despite having the least verses he took over the entire outro:Tear in every performance and in each one he changes things up.
That Hobi together with his actions are so impactful, plus the lighting, the mood, how yoongi and namjoon nailing their parts fantastically all came together. Just perfectođđŒ.
Iâve seen outro tear performances more than 50 times and I never ever get tired of it, this kinda shows that this really is a masterpiece considering Iâm the kind who gets bored easily.

This is my favorite BTS Outro. The first time i heard this song i thought it was Suga rapping the last part because he was spitting fire in that verse but i know the voice was different. And i fell in love with this even more when i finally realized it was JHope. This song is way too lit and should be appreciated more.

This was perfect and spot. On. But I love the hype everyone has in the background too. Like during J-Hopes part, you can see Suga and RM emphasizing certain parts, and he does the same for them. Their teamwork is spot on.

This is my fav perf of all time, what made me a hobi bias, what made tear my fav song. Its so commanding, just grabs you and doesnt let go. I love blazes reactions because as a musician and dancer he always points out something I didnât recognize but that makes an impact, like the strings at the end. I've been ARMY for a while now, and Outro: Tear is one of my absolute favorites by the rap line because I can FEEL the emotion of the lyrics. But this is the first time I've ever seen them performing the song live, and in the Dior outfits. Now, I HAVE heard of the outfits, and I've seen the pictures, but I somehow managed to miss them perform while in the outfits. There's just so much content out there, it's hard to keep up with what I may have missed. And I gotta tell ya, it was breathtaking on a whole other level. Between the outfits, the lyrics, and Hobi's raw and powerful emoting (it would not have been a surprise if he had actual tears running down his face by the end of it), I didn't realize I was holding my breath until after the video ended. Holy crap. Thank you guys.

The guys' energy live is just a whole other level... lots of my pictures from their 2nd day in London (Wembley) ended up being both derpy but still shows how they are doing their best in their performance because their faces are filled with seriousness and concentration

Ok. I'll admit it. I'm in my late 40's and got into Kpop about 6 or 7 years ago and found BTS during their "Dope" and "Fire" era, and NEVER recovered. And I am J-Hope silly!!!!
I'm so HAPPY you guys enjoy BTS so much! I LOVE ALL the boys, they are beyond anything I've ever seen and I grew up in the era of Michael Jackson! I grew up in a time when the greats of entertainment from the 50's, 60's and 70's were still alive and killing it on the stage. I thought the combination of real talent, entertainment and heartfelt, soulful meaningful music was pretty much gone. I NEVER dreamed I'd find it again in a boy group out of SOUTH KOREA!!!
