- What a day. Smashed a few laps until kaboom. Luckily I planned on pulling the engine anyway :) Was actually quite fun pulling it out solo and realizing that I'm more than capable of it - can't wait to rip it apart!

I remember first engine I pulled out all by self (Ford Focus 2.0 petrol) I was overwhelmed with excitement even though it’s a basic one to pull I couldn’t stop having this weird smile on my face, it’s nice to see Adam experience it too.
Looking forward to all of the engine stuff planned ahead (Technical details sound entertaining explained by Adam because of honesty and simplicity in the way he explains it)
Adam a box of spares is normal for a DIY Mechanic.You have done well to take out the Engine and also stripping it down. I second the comments about Nicole being a true Car Guy wife helpful and supportive, My wife has always been there for me when I have changed engines gear boxes clutches and bleeding brakes. I see you doing more paint work yourself too.

Dreadhawk Hussein alberto didnt drift due to his car needing to be tuned. Adam has no experience tuning cars. It has to go to a dyno or on the street for a base map tune in order to b ready to drift. Also i dont think alberto asks anyone for help seeing as hes can do it just fine on his own

Good Job man, Ive pulled a lot of motors, and for what its worth im hella impressed with how smooth it went. Well done buddy. Mad respect towards you for conquering it on your own. This is how it all happens for most of us, our "support buddy" or the guy we think we need to rely on, ends up being busy or lacking a bit of motivation (which isnt a bad thing) and we end up finally conquering it on our own. I will never forget the day that I realized that I CAN do all of the stuff on my own, and damn is it an incredible feeling.

You guys remind me of my mum and dad because they used to pull motors to make a cheap buck and they would strip it to the chassi and sell the parts. and they would also help each other, man, you are are a good couple.
Just so you know Adam. The headlights you put in Nicole's car will have the wrong beam pattern for American roads because they are from Japan. Since you guys drive on the right a lot of the light output will be directed into oncoming drivers eyes and dazzling them. They can be modified to suit driving on the right.

Depends on Quality of the tire, speed, how much you use the hydro. Depends on setup and driver.

I've always worked on my own cars but the first time I replaced a bad head gasket and it fixed my problems was my first big job completely alone and it was a brilliant feeling, it's like earning something instead of just having it bought for you. Keep up the good work.

Clowning around as much as I don't like talking down about someone. He has blown a lot of his own engines. Think he's on his third rebuild? The engine he built Adam should have lasted a lot longer. Also who hones a 20 year old bore which would have gone slightly oval due to the wear and slap new pistons in? Bit cowboy.
