...I was originally donating to a local woman who I've just found out moved away. She would make the wings herself for a hospital near us. Do you think they'll still take my hair if its not cut in multiple ponytails?
Do they work with barbers like other organizations?
My Auntie just donated 20 inches of hair & my uncle just donated 10-12 inches of hair.
Does anyone know if they take kinky hair? And if so, is it the length of the hair or the length of the braid that would have to be at least 8 inches?
They will take any kind of hair. The length of the braid would have to be at least 8 inches, but they really appreciate it if the person donating could donate more.

Do they accept donations from Canada?
I am pretty sure they will accept hair/monetary donations as long as it is in american dollars, But if you want to be 100% sure you can go on there website where they have a contact page.

I donated my hair almost 3 months ago exactly and I just received my certificate today via email. I didn't expect it to take this long but it did. Hopefully yours will come soon.
My daughter donated in 2016 and never received her certificate. She was quite upset and honestly it's soured us from wanting to donate again.
Did any of you receive your certificate? I don't personally mind getting one as I'm in my mid 20's, but I do want confirmation that my hair was received. If not I'm sending it to a different organization.
My hair started thinning when I was 18 and I have always had a very dry scalp. I bought argan rain . Both my wife and me have noticed that my hair does seem thicker and growing thanks to argan rain Hair Care Product.
