  • Devil’s Postpile National Monument is a must-see natural wonder when visiting Mammoth Lakes in the summertime! Towering up to 60 feet, these amazing basalt columns are an extremely rare geological phenomenon formed by cooled lava flow nearly 100,000 years ago.
