I feel consultants are smart enough to teach others how business is done but in reality they themselves are doing job. There should be a time that a consultant should start their own business instead of trying to climb the career ladder. Manager and partner are over rated. I use consulting as a learning curve that would help me when I start my own business

why does a software dev is earning more than 50lpa with 2yoe like in the we complete MBA they are already making more than avg package of IIM A,B,C oviously I am talking about top 1%tile as these IIM also mostly take people with more than 98-99%tile.
