as an only child who used to get a lot of toys growing up, i notice now as an adult i actually go for the things that i didn’t want as a child like books, dolls, and even wearing certain clothing styles that my child self would’ve never liked

y’all make me feel so comfortable and at-home i’m so glad i found this podcast 💕
I am 16 and last year I went to a total of five k-pop concerts with my mom and brother. One of them I went to when I was 15 and it was an amazing experience. BUT my parents made me work hard and pay for all my tickets and merch which eventually amounted to over 1,000$ worth of merch and tickets. Just on myself. I am very glad I am able to go now and pay for that portion because when I get older I will have to pay for ticket, merch, getting there, hotel, food. Oh my gosh thinking about it makes me stressed. And btw the concerts were Ateez (169$ one ticket) in january, stray kids (300$) , itzy (75$) and ateez (Night one 200$ night two much closer btw 150$) two nights in a row.
Just finished midterms while binging the show, this was an absolute treat! I love y'alls vibes☺

the worst thing I experienced as an Asian child was having my neighbor’s mom being a kumon teacher, which meant we had so many math problems in 1 day and had to study math everyday💀. Don’t get me wrong, some study sessions were fun but my mom used to make me study all the time 24/7🥲
