- We had an amazing time out in the water in Baker Lake with @PavlusAdventures . The views was absolute stunning. We caught 3 Sockeye Salmon. Their were pretty good size about 16 inches. Also, I’ll be sharing my gear and setup with you as well.

Which part of baker lake were you fishing?
The slider weight that you use, is that so you don't have to use a downrigger? How much line do you let out when using the slider weight? Thanks Also, thanks for showing your setup!
Yes, that’s correct. Anywhere from 4 to 8 ounces weight depends how windy it is.
Depends where you mark the fish on the Finder I let the line out anywhere from 65 feet to 100’
And when you’re out there, communicate with other anglers ask them about their set up that helps.
What is the name of the boat launch that you usually go to when going to baker lake? Also, it is probably very busy going when the season opens there...what day is good day to go when not too many people are out there? Thanks...

You have to get there early when it’s still dark Saturday and Sunday very busy days during the opener, I definitely wouldn’t go during the weekend.
