Makita Impact Driver DTD152 Switch: Replacement and Troubleshooting Guide

In this video, we have an issue with Makita Impact driver DTD152 switch. So we're troubleshooting and replacing it. Despite the customer's attempt to resolve the problem by changing the brushes, the issue persists. I decides to investigate further, inspecting the armature, wires, and switch. After blowing dust from the switch with compressed air, they proceed to check the voltage on the brushes using a multimeter. Then I replaced the brush holder, resolving the issue and demonstrating the successful repair. The video concludes with the presenter reassembling the components and confirming that the driver now functions correctly. Blue wire from trigger with spring attached.!!?? If anyone is interested it is an earth wire and is wedged between the stator and the casing with the wire itself pushed into the small wire retaining slot- not fitted on all models ..!!!
