This region was only open to foreign tourists for about 7 years, before Covid and then the military coup. Who knows when it will be open again. When it does, I will definitely revisit the Dawei peninsula.

This place where you took this video is called "Pho Pho Kyauk Beach" and the other side of the lagoon can be reached using a road from Yebyu, south of Dawei city....

Yes its in the South of the amazing Dawei Peninsula, love Myanmar, I travelled the country for three months

Maybe climbing any mountain in the surroundings can do that, but is pretty virgin the place
