    anybody out there ever heard rod stewart play the harmonica.we all know the story of the railway station and long john bawldry but ive never heard him play on anything. been looking for years .mike

      yeah, there's a live vid out there from 79 i believe, he plays harmonica on that show, it's in Los Angeles, but other than that, i think it's a bit thin on the ground to see him play harmonica :)

    I absolutely LOVE the guitar on this track. Could somebody please tell me which scales are being used (and added notes, if any) over each chord? Thanks.

      I think they're bathroom scales? On a serious note, the guitar work on here is excellent.

      scouserla1 I got a video tutorial for this song and I figured out what scales he's using. It's mainly I, IV and V major pentatonic scales, but he uses I and IV minor pentatonic for little 'fills' now and then.
