Your guitar solo on I was only... is one of the best and epic solos I'd ever listened to. and I love the fact that the drummer Harry James was a part of this - he was playing in Magnum between 2004-2016 (correct?), I both Rod and Magnum are my favourites when it comes to music :)

Longing for the 70s

I loved this song when it first came out but of course it hits differently now. The lyrics are bittersweet and Rod’s voice is amazing. But this version with Jim’s solo made it a top 3 favorite of all time.

I just found out that Jim Cregan was the original guitarist when this song was first produced. How crazy is that? I'm looking at the two of you reunited on stage singing a song that you wrote n he was a member of in the original band, When this song was released.
