How is the diaphragm a core stability muscle?

  • The diaphragm muscle is actually part of what is called the intrinsic or deep core. When this muscle comes down while the other core muscles are activated, your core is much more stable. This process creates what is called intra-abdominal pressure.
    Creating intraabdominal pressure helps protect the spine during challenging tasks such as lifting any type of weight off of the floor.

    I can fully contract it when sitting or bending forward, but feel a bit winded when standing or walking and revert to mouth breathing to get more air.

    you can really explain things goooood, please take some PRI techniques in consideration, im on the wrong patrern for a long time and PRI techniques are very complicated i already lost my left diaphragm function thats why left rip cage flares out in external rotation and the other parts are all in ER and IR
