The new luxury ship features the design cues, cuisine and levels of service you expect in the world’s finest boutique hotels. Except here you’ll wake up in a new idyllic location different to the one you went to sleep in.
Called Spirit of Discovery, she, along with her sister ship Spirit of Adventure, are the only small ships currently being built for the British market, offering a balcony for every guest and a choice of free speciality restaurants. All backed by Saga's famous personal service and inclusive value.
This ship offers plenty of space for relaxation, from two pools, a luxury Spa and a theatre, to the delights of a secret Terrace. It’s all been thoughtfully designed with a single aim: to help you find the spaces and places that will help you unwind, as only you want to.

I have never been on a cruise and Spirit of Discovery was my first adventure of this kind. The rooms are very quite cosy and beds are beyond comfortable. The food was delicious and customer service is sharp and friendly. The ship has a nice trendy vibe, which I found quite interesting knowing Saga's demographic. I definitely recommend it!

This looks like my kind of cruise ship.
I have to say the decor is very good. None of the cheap glitz like most cruise ships. Everything seemed elegantly understated. One thing, I thought Saga cruises were for those of 50+. Definitely saw a couple of much younger people walking around.

looks really beautiful and chic, but this does make me feel that it's for more mature guests. it's almost too perfect which makes it boring. I don't know if a large carnival ship would be my cup of tea, but this seems to go the other way for me.

I saw another video that you have to be over 50 years old for Saga cruises - I didn’t hear you guys mention it in the video. Has this changed?
Hey Amy. Yes you have to be 50 or 40 if travelling with a guest over 50.
Cruise with Ben & David That makes sense - guess I’ll have about 5 years to save for my first Saga cruise! I was really impressed and felt like there was lots of options. Love the solo cruiser option. I hope they maintain it well until it is time for me to step on board.
No such thing as "free wifi". It's just included in the cruise's expensive price and not very efficient.

Hi Chris. Yes, they are exclusively for people who are 50+ and cater mainly to the UK market. They are an all-inclusive cruise line with drinks, travel insurance, speciality restaurants, wifi, gratuities and transfers included.
