Rewatching this in 2024 and wow. The main menu sound track brings back so many happy memories. BABY WOLFFFFF!!
I remember playing this as a kid in 2012, it was a shame i gave up after it became pay to win as i was a kid and would never ask my parents to give me money for a game but i still remember the game fondly
I wish I can go back to those days. Always made the best of it because I didn’t have money like everyone else but I still somehow finessed getting free AP lol and some of the stuff people who paid to win had. Man I wish I can close my eyes and wake back up in those times. I never would’ve thought life would be how it is now 😕🤦🏽♂️

@@yaawara Weapons aren't my biggest problem.. Tattoos and characters are just too much. Imagine getting 5 headshots with a sniper and he doesn't die xD

It sucks what the creators did to this game. They let greed rule them. Game had so much potential. I tear down when I see this game. It’s literally my childhood. I hate that it didn’t make it. 9 years later I tried going back and downloading this game and there’s nobody. It’s like a ghost town. What used to be over 300 rooms full of players is now at most 10 rooms. So sad 😞 if I could go back in time and re create this game and give it everything it deserves. Back when it came down to skills and not money. Now it’s like if you spend more money. You win
Yo bro I just wanna tell you in case you still wanna play the game is very active in Softnyx Wolfteam servers. You’ll find lots of rooms. Downsides are it’s lots of pay2win, or pay2compete I’d rather say since everyone has items. Then secondly you’ll run into cheaters here and there, thirdly it’s mostly Arabs, so communication will be kind of dead.
Omg bro the old days where the wolfs were plane and guns were normal. Omg I’m speechless I will never play a game like that again. I think it’s better than call of duty in my opinion . Just pure nostalgia. Even when the armor and tatto came out it was really fun but out of nowhere I couldn’t believe what was happening to the game I hated it. I owned the clan TheNewLaw, xlViolence, HighAim. I remember 2 clans we played a lot . Gangsters™️ and TheLaw. A few more I can’t think of right now. I had a really close buddy I met on there named LostBones , he always had my back from the first day we met and helped me in war when I was just starting the game and months after playing togther out of nowhere disappeared I wish I can find him 😕 I can go on and on about this game. F4ck those Turk hackers btw
I was playing through 2008 to 2010, I still remember it cleary I was really invested in this game that I used all my phone plan on the game to spin the wheel indefinitely to get special weapons and skin until my parents caught me and destroy me for that lol..good memory, unfortunately I never could find someone that knew about this game in real life but whatever I'm surprised that the game still lives on lol

Unfortunately, Wolfteam is a kind of game that is gonna stay in P2W forever unless the publisher wants it to be shut down. I used to love this game as a kid, but I know P2W must be in the system for keeping it running. It's just like CSO, Cross Fire, many kinds of online low-resolution FPS games that in-game cosmetics are not something that users are going to love, but paid and overpowered items. Softnyx was known as P2W game company, every game they have is P2W kind of games.
This game brings me some kind of nostalgia that nothing can do
i missed this game so much. im 31 now. played it 14 years ago. Time fly so fast. The theme songs brings so much memories. I might just redownload and replay it

Thought this game was lost to time, I remember playing gunbound with friends until one of em told me about this awesome free fps game where you can turn into a wolf, tried it out and had a blast and just one day stopped playing. Never thought about it till now and doesnt look like how i remembered it but since it was long ago and to see that its still alive but dead kinda sucks.
after SE char it was ruined and then came 300+hp tanky characters and guns like uzas and so on
good old days. i play this game instead of playing dota with my friends way back 2006 😂

The first 2 years it was fun then the hackers started coming in with wall hacks and flight some even used godmode "unkillable" later it became pay to win some people even got banned for reporting the hackers since some where actually working for them there is nothing good you can expect from a company letting it get this far just find another game to play this company is not worth it.
Thanks for the video. Had fond memories in its first three iterations. The human-into-wolf system is such an interesting meta. Unfortunately, Korean free-to-play games gotta go into its natural life cycle into pay-to-win...

I'd never cry for a game, the only game i cried for is wolfteam😢 it's literally my childhood, i remember coming back from school happily just to play wolfteam it was a comfort game for me and i was used to play it a lot. It's so unfair of what the creator did to this game, it upsets me a lot. I would give my everything just to go back to wolfteam 2020 or even less ☹️

My all-time favorite game, I'm so nostalgic for the 2010s golden age of WolfTeam. Everything was perfect, the ranking system, interface, gameplay, clan wars. Such a shame that pay-to-win and power creep killed the game.

i had no problem buying a gun for a month or a week that had a bit better accuracy then the "normal" one but that shit was a huge nogo

İ play in 2021 really very good but I don't known why classic game blocked by softnyx due to Joygame's Türkiye server is already now. İ can't enter without using latin VPN software. 2024 now everybody used high p2w items included 1 years GM tattoo item etc.. i can't play any wolf mods again. 😢

I never get to play Wolfteam before the pay to win option, but it hurts me the most that Wolfteam had so much potential, but thanks to Softnyx management greedy fingers, it ruined one of the most favorable games and it will never revert back to the good old days, rest in peace Wolfteam (and curse you Aeria Games).

A game it's no good no good graphics but it's so expensive 😵
So I just keep on looking back at this game, thinking where the game would've went if it wasn't rotten with p2w aspects post 2012 year. Winning a tournament in 2013 was at the time interesting but still you needed to have the top gear to even stand up to others. 10 years from that alone and when comparing to the current state there's just so many bad decisions made for this game.
More characters/wolves with stats I don't even understand. Also these anniversary characters was just a slit to to the throat for OGs who played the game.
Characters cards for what? A pointless system imo.
I've also read/seen the community just voicing their opinion that players should get nearly the same gear as others who've paid for them and have them permanently via playtime events and such. I wholeheartedly just hated this idea as it's just a poor way to mend the core issues the game has/had. You're not solving anything with just handing out cash items to players as the core experience of the game is already devastated.
I don't have any idea what happened with the game after the merger which was around 2015(?) but from that point on from what i've heard from colleagues/old friends in the game it was just a mess. I feel bad for this game as I feel like this game should've deserved better.
Best thing for this game currently is to just let it die completely and hope that some other company would take the IP from its current developers and ACTUALLY do something smart with it. Current company that owns the IP of this game isn't just doing a good job and is completely ignoring the games' massive issues (weapon balance, item balance, etc).
Heck, If I were a billionaire right now I'd probably just buy the game IP and look for motivated coders, etc to work the game out to its roots and create the polarizing 2009 wolfteam all over. I think the game's engine is still workable but you could of course just upgrade it to a close modernish look if you're not a fan of the look of the game its in currently.
One can hope though! Sorry for the long post.

@@ayofzi8895 If they want to go this path, I think remastering the game would be ideal since the resolution is not as good looking as FPS games nowadays. They have to grow a huge number of players again to get insights. Business is tough, so they always want to maximize profit gained from game, and P2W would do the trick better than cosmetics in this low-resolution game.
