Why doesn't these car manufacturing companies do all these awesome stereo installs for marketing purposes. I have a 22 Tacoma and the stereo is not very loud at all and I'm about to do something about it. Thanks for the video

How would you compare the bass to this system without the dedicated amp? I just bought my Tacoma and I am deciding whether or not to spend the extra $500 on the dedicated amp. I don't need earth shattering bass but I mainly listen to hip-hop and the factory system is okay when cranked up but I want studio quality lows. Opinions welcome.

Is the sub enclosure available by itself? Or do we have to buy the whole kit?
You may be able to buy it separate but with the sub I would contact oem directly they have good customer service so I’m sure they will let you know

Hey jesse! I actually just ordered the reference 500 with the two subwoofers. I was curious if you have any rattling in the back there?? Trying to determine if I need to use sound dappening on my doors and back panel where the subwoofers will be. Thanks!!
I put a thick foam behind my single sub and not sure if it helped or not but there is zero rattling.
What about the Tacoma’s that come with the jbl audio can i improve it or replace it ?

Hey Jesse, installed the reference 500 on my Tacoma. Love the sound, but I feel the bass is underpowered coming from the back. How big of a difference does the dedicated amp make? Do you feel it helps with lows? Thinking of pulling the trigger, but curious on how much more bass it really produces....
It did make a difference 🤙
I also did the reference 500 on my Tacoma and expected much more bass than what I’m hearing. I did get the dedicated amp to make sure I was going to get the bass I wanted. Very disappointed.

You are correct sir, but Yes when I installed my multi channel amplifier previously I stript one of the bolts :/ so I had to put my old bolts back lol

What's the difference why you adding another amp to your current amp?
The first amp is mainly to power the speakers it gives slight power to the sub, so when you add the second amp it then helps as the first amp I have will power the door speakers fully and the secondary amp with power only the subwoofer so it’ll be dedicated to it
@@JesseRizo I watched your first video on the oem + installation sound system I thoughts that was the amp for the sub that you installed underneath the driver seat I didn't know you need separate amp for th sub itself that's kindna weird.
U don’t need a separate amp only if u want (bass control) and a deeper hitting subwoofer it’s similar to any car audio system only difference this is plug and play

Man the only thing that stops me from buying this is that pretty steep price tag, and the fact that you still have to crank the volume up to 50 to hear anything.
Tyler OBrien not sure if we’re talking about the same System., but I find myself listening to music around 40 with my Reference 500 and even then I hear a lot prior. I’ve had mine for 6 months now, would definitely recommend.
Sorry for the late reply but To each there own my friend but I love mine regardless you can’t get clarity like this from any other sound system out there as far as from my knowledge I usually have mine around 30-37 and it’s perfect and now with the bass control knob it’s nice to be able to adjust the bass and just be in control to me I’d recommend the same setup I have I love it regardless
