- This video sums up ATIS, clearance delivery and the departure out of Friedrichshafen (EDNY) under low IFR conditions with a G1000 Cessna 172 SP.
As soon as we climb out of the clouds, there is a breathtaking view over the southwestern part of Germany and the Swiss Alps.

Nice video! Question for you: In Germany, what are the rules for minimum visibility and/or ceilings for IFR take-off? Here in the US, there are different rules for different segments of aviation, e.g. no take-off minimums for Part 91. Curious what it's like in Germany.
