Dimensity 7300 looks impressive! Can’t wait to see how it performs in real-world scenarios. Mid-range phones are getting better!

Hi Basil. Thank you for this first look. I am due an upgrade from my current Oppo Find X5 Pro. Which phone would you recommend as a replacement? Ps. I'm UK based. Thank you for the great content _ long time subscriber !

Great question. That really does depend on what you're looking to spend. If you like Oppo, then I'd definitely consider the OnePlus 12. Similar camera tuning but further-reaching zoom. What do you prioritise - battery, camera, gaming - and how much are you looking to spend? And thanks for the support! Very much appreciated :) Basil

@@tech_edit Up to about 800£. Priorities are 1. Camera, 2. Battery and gaming not important. I've been really happy with my Oppo. My short list atm are: OnePlus 12, Honor 200 pro, Xiaomi 14 ultra and Honor Magic 6 pro . Thank you for your reply .

      They all have their merits!
OnePlus 12 - good £ to performance, cameras, and battery - it's a real all-rounder and coming from an Oppo will be familiar.
Honor 200 Pro - good value and not bad at anything except for zoom - a smart choice if you want to save a bit but the plastic frame feels less premium. That said, it's the slimmest and lightest.
Honor Magic 6 Pro - pricey and limited zoom but excellent battery and when the camera hits, it hits well. Pricey though given your budget.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra - the best camera, battery isn't as good as the rest here and HyperOS is busy, but the camera is SO good it would be my choice. Also the most expensive.
Hope that helps even if I couldn't give you a straight answer :)
      Basil

Dimensity 7300 looks promising! Great power efficiency is a must for me. Can't wait to see how it handles high-end games.

I would love to see it compared with the Pixel 8A since they are exactly the same price at Launch

    Hi. Love your sharing.
I am looking for an upgrade from my oppo find x3 pro.
Love it but it is time for retirement.
Priority is a camera for an amateur photographer.
I am currently looking at OPPO Reno 12 pro 5G / Find x7 ultra / Find X6 pro. Which would you recommend? Thanks!
