- This project will forever be special to me. I saw this property and noticed that it needed a lot of help. So I knocked on the door and offered the homeowner a free property cleanup. Full of emotion, she thanked me and told me how, with her back pain, she was trying her absolute best to maintain the appearance of the yard. But things have just been super hard. I told her that I would make her yard look like gold and got down to business right away. The whole property was full of debri, accumulating to about 800+ pounds of waste. 2 dump runs later, I finished the property and surprised the kids with a special gift for them to enjoy in the coming summer months. I came here to basically say the same thing, so thought I’d just respond to your comment. This is one of my favorite Fill videos. The Bible verse at the end says it all. So glad you are doing this work in Jesus’ name. Bless you, Fill. You inspire me to help my neighbors in need.
Instead of the owner stopping to be nosey about why the yard is being cleaned up, he should be more concerned about fixing those killer steps before he catches a lawsuit.
Right? The owner should be taking care of his property as well
Money may not have or not care at all.
Maybe he didn't know how bad the steps were and he probably got a discount on the steps because they didn't talked about it on camera

He is responsible for most if not all of the trash in the yard. You have material left over bring it to that property and dump it. I had one just like him. A city inspector wanted a bunch of bricks he left on my lawn, so of course she came by once a week to harass me and write me a ticket for something. I told the owner who laughed it off until I handed him the stack of tickets and told him the amount of fines racked up. He wasn't laughing then as it was over 5,000.00 dollars. He told me I have to pay them and that's when I laughed in his face. All I was responsible for was mowing the grass and not one violation was for the grass length. I told him if he gives her the inspector the bricks she would resend the tickets. He agreed so she came on city time loaded up her vehicle several times and I never saw her again. Of course everything that was wrong with the house my landlord didn't bother to fix until a new inspector came around and actually did his job. The power from the pole had to be cut off because my meter base was about to catch fire. The inspector smelled it when driving thru the neighborhood. He of course check all the houses until he got to mine. He call the power company and ten minutes later I had no power. After 6 months my landlord had to go to court because he hadn't fixed the problem and I couldn't afford to move. The judge said he was going to send out the inspector every day from that day forward and a fine of 3,000.00 dollars a day will be leveled again him. The next day a electrician showed up at the same time as the inspector. I got a new meter base and the inspector called the power company to hook me back up. Of course it took two more weeks until they actually showed up. In the meantime no heat no hot water no cooking ect. My roommates guinea pig and bird froze to death.
For real. He should be embarrassment taking money for that dump.
This world is not Phil's home, he IS "just passin' through;" his treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue... But, oh, what an Ambassador for Christ he is while here!!! God Bless you and yours, Phil!
Hi Fill, and to all who are watching him work his butt off in this family's yard. I live in Southern Alabama, not far from the Florida line. I am 75 yrs old and work in my yard nearly every day. I live in a Cul-da-sac and NO ONE EVER comes here to ask if I need help with my yard, or anything else as far as that goes. I will tell you, my yard looks great most of the time, especially in the spring and summer. I have an acre to take care of. I can do most everything myself except cut down the big trees. Over the years the trees and scrubs have been encroaching into my yard more and more and I am having a heck of a time keeping them BACK !!
I think these people, men and women, who are doing this for complete strangers out of the kindness of their hearts are simply amazing ! I think men like Phil are an inspiration to us all. He is a humble man who is indeed just passing through. And at the end of this road, is the beginning… of eternal life.

What a wonderful job you did on my yard, you gave 100. No 200% on that one. And it was so kind of you to buy those girls a new bicycle. You’ll probably never know what that means to them, but maybe you will. The renters seem very appreciative of all your hard work. What a good heart you have, for spreading a little bit of love where you can. And I agree that owner needs to fix those stairs before them kids get hurt. I can’t wait to see the next one.
I was fortunate enough for Fill to make a surprise appearance at my doorstep the other day. I just started a new job and wasn’t able to get the lawn mowed for quite sometime. I live on a corner and it is slightly embarrassing having an out of control yard. I'm from Nova Scotia, I know for certain the insurance that my deceased mom had, visited once a year. When things weren't up to their standard, she was required to have it fixed or whatever to maintain it.
She should contact owner and tell him she will get it fixed and for him to deduct what she paid from her rent .
Looks like some concrete blocks would be better than what she has. I'm sure she's not able to use that door because of wrecked steps .

Fantastic video Fill! This is the way "Midlife Stockman" approached his projects giving the property the full cleanup. My hope is that the homeowner/landlord sees to building truly safe, stable and long-lasting steps and porch repairs. Additionally, I my hope is that the parents infuse in their children the importance of taking care of and protecting these bikes by never leaving them outdoors or unattended and using bike theft guards. Clean the shed and make room for them and lock the shed, which requires duplicate keys and more diligence to seeing those keys hung up in their own special place. Phil is a stickler for caring for his own equipment, very much as my own father always was with seeing to making things last. Parents may not always praise endlessly for following good examples, but I knew when they were proud, they felt blessed and less burdened. Never take blessings for granted. Thanks.

I watch fairly consistently , I am in Utah . We have a short intense growing season but we try to help! My family calls stuff we do to help " random acts of kindness" ! We try to do it anonymously but we got caught enough that we don't get away with it very often! Now my kids are grown I can be thrilled they do it with their own families ! Praise be to God for the strength of service and the future generations raised with God in their lives!

I know it is a fairly small thing, but thank you for sawing off the short branches left on that weird tree. Other than the fact they were driving me crazy, they were a serious hazard for both tripping and possible impalement. They didn't need to be sharpened to impale someone who falls with force, eye, head, temple, knock out teeth, roof of mouth, stomach, torn intestines... Things like this do and have happened.

It’s wonderful that you donate your time and energy but when you add the cost and maintenance of equipment, gas, disposable of yard waste, plus you add mulch and new bicycles you are an extremely kind and generous man.

I always walk around my yard to pick up any debris, paper, plastic bottles, etc, so the mower is not damaged. Good job.

Attention to detail and you actually get it all up. This is what makes your channel the best. You don't just knock it down and edge/weed eat at it, you detail it, mow it and get it all up and haul it off. Other channels could learn from you. Simply outstanding!
