welcome~
My long awaited photocard filler tutorial is here! I took a long time to think about the best way to show how to get started, especially if you are totally new to design. Hopefully through the resources I show and talk about, the process is detailed enough for you to try on your own. Or at the very least, gave you some new binder inspiration! ^^

I've been getting a few questions about printing and if you dont have access to a printer at home~
I also don't own a printer myself, so I rely on other resources to help me print my fillers. I'm able to print them at my work place if I provide my own paper. If you're a student, your school/college may offer on-campus printing through a shop or the library services you can utilize. Another great option is outsourcing your printing from a print shop in town or through a retailer. If you live in the US, Staples and UPS have printing services that are pretty good quality and if you are printing at the 8.5x11" size, are usually less an a dollar per page! There are also lots of online options as well that will ship prints to you. You'll just have to do a little research to find something that fits your budget :)
i cant find any online printing services that do 11x8.5, but if i change the size of my doc on canva, im worried the scale for the correct size of the photocard will be incorrect :( what printing service do you use?
I really love and appreciate how you thought about creating and showcasing different ways of making these fillers in multiple ways for those who don't use Photoshop like myself :) It was really thoughtful to see how you were thinking of others and all our collection journeys
Of course! I knew that if I tried to show how I do it myself, it wouldn't be helpful at all! ❤
this is honestly so cool i can’t wait to do try it
this was super helpful and gave me a lot of ideas for my own!! tysm!
wow thanks for showing us this, i love the way you do your fillers
Thank you so much for sharing! I never thought off using canva for this, that's actually so smart!
Finally, thank you so much!! ❤

ahh thank you so much for the tutorial
Thank you so much for this very much detailed tutorial and helping us all make our collections prettier 🥹💜🫶
i love how much effort you put on your collection ❤
Thank you for the video! I ended up trying the canva method and it was quite fun! I ended up making so many projects but now I'm terrified to print them on my prehistoric printer 😅
Thank you for sharing! I do it pretty similar. However, when it comes to the qr code pcs I change the filler qr code to a qr code that links to the album on spotify
Oh, that's a good idea! I didnt think about updating it to something more current. I'm glad that they eventually stopped doing the QR codes because they were not cute haha
Thank you so much for this
by far.. the most helpful tutorial on how to design and put together pc fillers for my binder. Thank you so much for this video.
I'm so glad it was helpful!!
Thank you Stay for making this video to help collectors out there. You are a really sweet and thoughtful person. =D

I love this video. I am waiting for your setting up video for their new comeback(if you will make one) ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!! I am planning to film me setting up my binder for it this weekend ^^
@@straystarlight can't wait~~ ❤️❤️
thank you so much for this tutorial
Yes! I made my covers in Photoshop because I did a lot of editing to that photo of Chan (cutting it out of the background, color correcting, adding the drop shadow), but you could also make covers in Canva as well! :)
please make a photoshop tutorial!
what kind of paper do you use? I like how sturdy it seemed in the video
this is sooo helpful. Thank u so much. Sadly my printer is to bad for this. :D They would look rly bad and dark. hhhaaaahh some day.... :D
You can always outsource your printing if that's something that interests you! I left a little more info in my pinned comment ^^
hi! do you think that I can do something familiar in gimp? I like this program so much better than adobe but idk if it’s possible
These are so cute! Would you ever sell your fillers?
I've never thought about it, but maybe if the interest is there? I'm not sure how I'd go about it either, other than a downloadable file you could print 🧐
where can i buy that glossy paper tho?
hi ^^, how did you get the levanters back scan? i need them so much 😩
I either got them off pinterest like I explained in the video or I scanned the card backs myself with a scanner!
Is there a way to rotate the page like you had it horizontally without having to use PRO? 😭
I'm a bit fuzzy on mac's interface, but Windows has a built in photo editor (it's really basic), but you can like crop and rotate images there. I would assume Apple has something similar! That would be a really easy was to rotate the images so they fit into the canvas the way you want! :)
im curious tho,, do u guys sleeve ur fillers ;_;
I do just so it will stay in place in my binder better, but I use really cheap penny sleeves so I dont use up all my nice ones just for the filler!
are all printers compatible with glossy paper?
I think most are! You’ll probably just have to make sure you adjust the settings for glossy paper. Each printer is a bit different when it comes to setting up printing for different papers. As for where you can get different papers, most office supply stores should have different kinds you can buy. I’m sure you could also search for them online ~
@@straystarlight thanks!
How is it shiny? Mine come out dull
The paper it's printed on has kind of a semi-gloss finish on it already, so it makes the print look shiny!
