Most of Air India's long haul flights are due for maintenance and overhaul. Tara's are doing it step by step. That's the reason. What about the crew on board ? Were they welcoming ? Air India could have announced about that seperate line. The thing is most of them in Air India are still in the government mindset. They will change slowly as TATA will do the magic.
A lot of Air India's long haul planes are due for overhaul, which is why most of the IFE monitors weren't working. The Tatas are systematically carrying out overhaul and refitting of AI's entire fleet and improvements should be seen soon.

Hi, how did you book the bassinet in air india flight. At the time of ticket booking. Or after booking ticket we have to call airlines. Can you plz help
People choose Air India with the hope that the services would have improved since the takeover by TATAs, but many people have expressed disappointment. Most of the complaints relate to lack of hygiene in the cabin and even the toilets, the display electronic systems not working, the chairs not reclining etc., Another concern may be the safety of the flights. Shows how bad the Air India was run by the government undertaking, but history be as it may be, TATAs have to act quickly to reinforce the confidence the people have reposed in Air India. This has to happen superfast as it is close to 6 months that the takeover has happened.
"Lack of hygiene in the cabin and even the toilets" Thats the reason I fly with Asian Airlines especially EVA or ANA.
We are travelling air india from chicago to delhi ( and eventually patna) next week with our 5 months old kiddo. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. Apparently we can keep the stroller with the car seat with us till the flight’s gate?
Yes and they will take stroller and car seat from you on the flight gate.
Is there any size guidelines for stroller for Air India flight? We have our travel scheduled for next month to India . Can I carry both stroller and car seat with stroller ? Will it be free to carry both ? Can I check in my stroller . My stroller is baby jogger city select 2 stroller.

Hello. I have an infant car seat that detaches from a stroller. Will I be allowed to carry the infant car seat in the plane or will I have to check it in at the security?

The total flight was 6:30 hrs..n they gave me baby bassinet for 1 hr when my baby was awake and playing😂😂 so i basically carried my baby in my arms for 6.5 hrs.

Airline staff will not touch your baggage or any stuff due to covid.

I will be traveling from Chicago to Delhi next week with an infant. Have you carried a diaper bag with you? If yes, did they check weight for it and count it as a carry on?
Yes, I carried a diaper bag. Airline will not weigh it. It will be considered as a personal item for an infant, just like a laptop bag, ladies purse for an adult.

Thanks for the video, very helpful, what did you say on the service you took in delhi ? Portal service ?. I booked wheel chair assistance for my wife , is that the same service you are telling and we can just give some tips to them?
No, I didn’t took the assistant service , I took the poter service near baggage claim and assistance service is totally free by airline, it is up to you to give tips or not.

I'm sorry dear, but I felt you have complained alot since your aware of the services of Air India and it was your personal choice to choose Air India. You should not complain and next time you can prefer Emirates...
Thanks Mikhail for your comment, first of all I was not complaining but sharing my experience. As I have mentioned in my video as well that I want Air India to be one of the best airlines. I have traveled Air India earlier as well and my experience was very good but this time it was not same, I believe criticism should be taken as positive to better yourself rather then in a negative way. And as a proud Indian, I will always prefer Air India over others.
Dear Mikhail bhaiya, dont go ga-ga over Emirates. Recently I flew MAA-JFK on Emirates transiting in DXB. The MAA-DXB leg was on a B777-300ER economy. The seats were horribly narrow and congested. Then I found out after some googling that the seat lay-out in EK B777-300ER economy is 3-4-3 and the seats are 17" wide. The AI B777-300ERs, on the other hand, have a 3-3-3 layout in economy and the seats are 18" wide. They feel less congested. Try flying both in case you want to experience the difference.
The DXB-JFK experience was different as I was flying A380-800 Premier Economy. The seats were really good, wide and comfortable. But EK or AI, the in-flight service leaves much to be desired, even in the Premium class. Qatar was much better, but I flew that airline about 5 years ago. I am not aware of the position now.
If you want better seats go with business class... I never seen the child bed, that was awesome to get ... Her hapiness of that bed (she does not need to carry baby with her whole time) is diminished by display system. Sad to see these opinions over comfort... Everyone has a smartphone and headset ... You have ability to hold a camera and shoot for your vlog and expect airlines to do things for you. I don't get you guys.

Hello Rekha ji, flight land karne k baad maine immigration process complete kiya fir next flight k liye proceed ki, jisme 1 hour mera chala Gaya or uske baad Main jaha Mera next flight ka boarding tha waha chali gayi and waha baith kar Mishka ko feed karaya, bathroom me fresh hui isi me mera next flight ka time ho Gaya.

Aor india had become worse. The poor airline and their service is ufffff..... bankrupt hone ke baad barbaad ho gaye ye log. Dukh ki baat hai.
