Hi, i have a important question. I have a shoot and everywhere the focus pro handle is out of stock, is it still possible to use the lidar well in handheld mode or do you maybe know a solution that i can use to have more controle while i don't have the focus pro handle?

Looks like all the youtube vids is see with the FX6 and dji focus pro are without the top handle, wich is a problem. Mounting the lidar under the lens would be a better option in this case. Also, can you use the focus pro with lenses that have no hard stops?
I’m kinda sceptic about this because it’s not on there supported camera list..so I’m like am I going to to be fighting this thing more then using or will it be as smooth as other setups..
Is each lens calibration that’s already in the app specific to the camera being used
No, they are specific to the distance from the sensor to the lidar so you have to measure that when switching cameras
get a stand in to do your reviews so you can fully demo the unit capabilities
how does it know where that laidar is mounted compared to sensor?
You measure it and input it into the focus handle

@@motoriznation the lens motor does calibrate the hard stops of the lenses automatically but how wound the lidar automatically know the distance from the camera sensor to the front of lidar. It takes 2 seconds to measure it
@@scooteractual I know that and you know it too, but we are nerds :) However, Aleksandru didn't mention that you have to measure it like it was last time with the older version of LiDAR.
looks great but gimbals have your buttery smooth shots, you'll still need that in your kit bag

Why would you ever use lidar with the FX6?? Lol. The Autofocus on the FX6 is insane.
Because ciné lens are manual lenses so you can’t use the autofocus of the camera with them
Which is why Sony want you to buy into their ecosystem so you can run a seamless setup of AF lenses with the FX6.
The only part that bugs me about this is having to pull out your phone to use the app.
Yeah, I wish they had the lens profiles available on the grip itself.

Sorry Sony colours are so bad! When you shoot with the ronin you can tell the huge difference but review is great keep them coming

@@JSHFilms and that’s fine for sure, i have shot with the FX3 and now I shoot the canon R5c and C70 because of the inconsistency in colours just look at your screen and look at the actual colour you see with your eyes then you will know that ain’t right
@@mrdamiansingh I think that Canon colors are incorrect and I take photos and video on the R5 for my full time job. I prefer Sony colors over Canon anyday.

Colours are subjective! Maybe I’m colour blind who knows man
Then you do not like the grading, but the colors itself are completely workable you can easily match it to all other brands if you know what you do
