I'm back, after a not too long hiatus. Long story short, my hard drive broke which basically deleted all of my project files, so I'm starting from the beginning again!
I'm gonna be remaking all of my Mario Kart DS restorations with all of the newfound knowledge I gathered throughout this channel's existence, starting with, of course, the Title Screen. If you compare this rendition to any of my other ones, you could definitely tell the differences.
Some of the main things I have changed with my process:
- Sampling most of the instruments properly to get the right sound (example: sampling F#6 of the Acoustic Piano patch instead of just putting the TRITON on like I usually would
- Using FL Studio's Level Scaling option to make pitch bends sound as accurate as possible
- Comparing my track with the original (This sounds like it would be common sense, but I guess not for me as I didn't always do this)

I was wondering what restored meant and listening to this feels weird because it sounds different to what I know it sounds like normally with the DS's audio disruption

Well that MKDS does sound weird when you restore it to sound higher quality however the some MKDS Beta soundtracks actually sound better in high quality(Restored) which is very weird in a way
