What projects are y'all working on this Summer to get ready for Halloween 2021?
I'm doing a new orleans style haunted cafe this year for my haunt. in honor of my aunt who sadly lost her battle with cancer this year. She's always wanted me to come over for halloween and never got a chance to set that up because life kinda got in the way.
I do two themes every year for my front yard and my neighbors. The theme for my yard this year includes a cornfield and the scarecrows (Cletus and Jedidiah) I built. My neighbors yard is a pumpkin patch with paper mache/clay pumpkins and two pumpkin-rot-inspired creatures. Hope I can make it look half as good as I see it in my head.
I haven't started yet. But I'm starting to get the fever. Lol
Sorry for your loss :(, love the idea of the haunted cafe in her honor. This was definitely a tough last year and a half.
Those sound awesome! 🎃♥️ Do you have access to the foliage? We use a lot of random brush from neighbors tree trimming. Having a plan is half the battle!

My update, since first see these we made 8. Our finished look was old concrete with both cracks an moss. Absolutely wonderfully large an realistic. Thank you , great project

Lmao Im sorry but laying on the table to film suddenly rocketed me into Golden Girls were they get talking about how how much better they look laying down. I didn't even know I remembered that. Its been years since I saw it but bam there it was and instantly I got snickers.

I found a replacement for the silk used for the flame that is much better. It is a lightweight, stretchy fabric that is white on one side and silver on the other. I got it at Walmart. It is much more supple and "flippy" than the silk, and creates a very realistic flame effect. Great prop!
You guys didn't do anything new prop redews last year.

These are awesome! Gotta make these , they will look great for my Mosoleum/ grave yard section of my walk through. I also like quick projects lol Im working on a scary pumpkin head , for a pumpkin king prop. I have big thick twisted vines that im gonna use for his body that i kept when cleaning some brush n trees out. HOARDER! 😂Im changing up the front yard this year going with a creepy harvest theme. So lots of pumpkins, scary scarecrows ect. I was inspired by Closed Casket studios pumpkin props with the heads in them and LOVE Creepy Collections harvest themed props. I love all thier props. We used to slide around with theme, our graveyard is pretty versatile but these fixtures are more like extension of the home vs fit into the theme of that makes any sense
