I believe the lack of more than one save file makes the genocide route more heartwrenching. You snatched away their happy ending forever to pursue a path of death and evil. You feel TERRIBLE!
or just hack the game to save your pacifist save file then do it

+quizzlie Yeah there's more than one way to play Undertale beyond the good and bad ending. There is a ton of neutral ending depending on your kill count, who you killed and what you did (or did not do) in the game. [spoiler] Sans would also know if you did not eat a single thing or changed your clothes throughout the game [/spoiler].

I think it double 4th wall break, it not saying the player was a coward. But it say toward us, The Watchers Of Players that Was Watching The Players Do An Action. Its Kinda Surprising For Me, Because Before I Play Undertale i watch People play it. And after Flowey said it. I shocked.

I only played undertale once because I want everyone to be happy with their lives in the game even if it is just a game I would feel bad for resetting it all.
Nice work Josh! This was probably my favorite part of Undertale, the connection to you as a player. It made it different from any other game I've played. The pacifist ending definitely made me rethink playing the game again. Thanks for having me on bro, keep being awesome. Must-Dash ;)

After doing pacifist, I went reseted, and that scene where you meet Sans and Papyrus for the first time, Sans breaks the fourth wall more than once. Example:
"I'll be *straight-forward* with you," he says this while facing away from Frisk, towards the screen.
why does undertale break the fourth wall?
well... you see, in undertale, the fourth wall is imaginary, just like on stage, and the monsters there have a shitty memory and always forget that they're performing.
At least we're better than those SICKOS who stand around and watch it happened.

To me it's more like I want them to have their happy ending. At least until it's time to do it all over again then it's the journey to become friends again.
Huff, huff. Phew! Don't worry, I think i have found reasons why the forth wall is safe. Though there are references, they are not flat out saying its a game. Flowey is psychotic so when saying its a game he means the game between him and the player. Some things like press z are non-canon, take pikmin 2 for example. Also, the battles and buttons are created and done through determination (along with saves) and magic. Also, there is a theory that you are Chara spectating and controlling Frisk, (whether good or evil) so when Flowey talks to the player, they are talking to Chara. There is even more so don't worry! (Also, when characters look at the screen, it's just cuz it would be hard to show expression from the side)
Sorry to say but the 4th wall is not safe. In fact it can't be repaired ever again. One major hole in your theory is that Flowey messes with your save file and even talks about it in character. The 4th wall isn't only broken but burnt to ashes, scooped up and thrown into the wind. We can only hope Flowey doesn't start getting into our other video games and corrupting the characters in them as well. Maybe that's where all the bugs and glitches in video games come from? O.o
they need to make a sequel to the pacifist omg
Fudge! I resettled to do a neutral route, now I feel bad! After I finish the omega Flowey fight I'm doing another true pasifist route!

So when they hit you, the game actually exits out of fullscreen mode, and the window SHAKES. LIKE WTH CAN TOBY DO THAT?! I GUESS FRIKKIN SO BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK THAT WAS POSSIBLE. Like the fact that the window actually shakes just blew my mind for some reason. I dont know why but I thought it was so weird that you could actually do that.

Things that I love undertale:
1- sans stronger than every one
2- SANS
KNOWS IAM HACKING AND CHEATING
One: Sans may have OP attacks, but let's face it; he won't do it if you do even a neutral route that's close to being a genocide.
And Two: He's aware that the player can "time-travel" and whatnot, but he doesn't EXACTLY know, otherwise he would've popped outta the screen and blasted you-

Every monster in the game tries to kill you so is killing totally unjustified here? The only monsters that it could not be justified for are perhaps Papyrus and maybe Toriel but Toriel wants to trap you underground forever as a replacement for her child so she is not innocent either. Papyrus did try to kidnap you but I have a suspicion that Papyrus made the bars too wide on purpose knowing that Asgore will kill Frisk if he hands them over. He is just pretending that we escaped. He even hints at this during his battle saying he does not think Asgore will let you go. The puzzles were just a game to him and he could have easily killed us if he wanted to most likely. Never seeing a human before his curiosity got the better of him it seems. The fact that he designs these complex puzzles and uses reverse Psychology on Undyne makes him perhaps one of the smartest characters in undertale. In the genocide path he is the first to notice a pattern of the monsters attacking you first so he realizes if he shows you mercy and simply does not fight it is likely you would stop killing.
Don't forget Napstablook and Monster Kid they never wanted you dead, I understand Napstablook tears hurts you but he doesn't do it intentionally.
That's why killing those who are trying to kill you is justified, but I think Toriel was keeping you there in fear of Frisks safety. She knew Asgore would try to kill Frisk, like all the other Children. She doesn't try to kill you, and when sparred realises that she shouldn't keep you here against your will.

I wonder what it means to cut and paste the save file? this is a great game, and after I finished I put my save in a folder on my USB to stay safe and let my brother save a copy of their world too.
