The Pro model is finally here! Suunto 9 Peak Pro Review! We’ve checked out the Original SUUNTO 9 Peak almost 1 and a half years ago and now we have the 9 Peak Pro in our hands to check out. Most of the things stayed the same and Suunto did not fix what was not broken, but there are some features that makes it a “Pro” version compared to the original. Most importantly, although not in the same league, the Apple watch Ultra was also launched, so we want to see how does it stack up against an unusual competitor.
The SUUNTO 9 Peak Pro is provided by SUUNTO for review, and although these were sent over to me, no money has exchanged hands, and this review is based on my honest and unbiased opinion.

Honestly the watches look big on your wrist (in my view)? Maybe it’s the camera angles you showed it at but certainly looked fine (if too big?).
Originally I felt so too haha then I got used to it. Now I look back at smaller watches I have, I can’t go back to smaller watches now. My wrist circumference is about 17.5cm 😁
Hate to say it, but as much as I like the iPads and other apple products. The Apple Watch is not for me in any form. Too much of a phone on your wrist.

I think it’s the first time I’m hearing about the Apple Watch Ultra being surpassed in HR accuracy since it’s kind of known fact that Apple makes the best HR sensors on the market. That was unexpected.
That’s because he’s not comparing the data to a chest heart rate monitor. If you look at the difference between his calories burned between the ultra and suunto there’s a massive discrepancy and that’s because of the difference in the heart rate reading because the distance is the same. There’s no wearable that can compare with the Apple Watch when it comes to wrist based accuracy.
No, they don't. Masimo and Polar sensors are better.
