Dude this got him to phase 2 on Ng+6 in two charged spell casts XD. Just equipped, the godfrey icon, flock canvas talisman, radagon icon. Payback for all the times ive been combo'd to death by that spell in the base game and dlc
Ng+ doesnt scale enemies in the dlc.
Not really a “cheese” by definition but definitely an easy way to fight him. Same as the Elden Beast, this works on any larger size enemies with a few hit boxes to get hit for multiple doses.

Did you try the cheese? All you basically have to do is just spam pest spears under him and it does a bunch of damage.
You can cheese him if you like but imo you should do the full fight it’s amazing
