Considering that Trunks was struggling to move in 150x gravity in base form, I wouldn't scale his power level to be more than a few million. Vegeta trained in the gravity chamber in 300x gravity with a power level of a few to several million. If Goten and Trunks were anywhere near Gohan's level in power, who was comparable to Goku and Vegeta, then their fusion should've been much stronger, probably not far from Vegito's power, yet Vegito in base was many times stronger than a SSJ3 Gotenks. Of course, plot can make any fighter as strong as they need to be in a given moment.

I think this particular video was very well done! I never thought about the grade of ssj Goten and trunks are at. it makes sense that they would be at the level of goku and Gohan after the time champer.
Honestly Goten and Trunks lowkey proved that they can still be powerful as Super Sayian’s in some small aspects proving that there’s no need for them to use God ki because if they had the drive like their movie counterparts they would’ve been extremely powerful as individuals and they would’ve mastered Super Sayian 3 separately if they wanted to hence why I nickname them the Super Sayian race or Half-Super Sayian race😎💯
It would be really cool if goten learns Chinese martial arts on a deep level since that’s how he dresses now. Like having and enlightenment mode where his eyes glow/shine and having it kind of act like ultra instinct in a way, giving him access to new moves and such. And with trunks maybe he gets some moves from his blue haired super counterpart with like on command super ssj buff mode but he turns it on and off like goku does with kaioken.
Great analysis of these two. I might add that during the buu fight they hadn't learned to read power levels so buu was able to out maneuver them due to that alone. They later learn during one of the early special episodes just before super started. I believe Vegeta's brother shows up along with two of Freeza's henchmen that are said to be stronger than when Goku fought him. Goten and Trunks were having trouble keeping up (even though they were stronger) until I believe Gohan taught them to read power levels. At that moment they defeated the fused henchmen with ease.😊
As for them being on or near ssj2 level at ssj1 remember Whis told Goku and Vegeta that the different levels of Super Sayian are just mutations of Super Sayian, so it takes no stretch of the imagination to assume that ssj1 could reach the same multiplier as ssj2 or even ssj3 simply through training that form.
When I was a kid Goten was my favorite just because I could relate to him the most due to my age at the time .. I always thought he would be very powerful the min he grew up...please toei do something with this character!!

Perfect video analysis. I’ve been saying it since day one Goten & Trunks are OP in The Buu Arc. Goten and Trunks surpassed Gohan initially in the Buu Arc after they get training. Because Gohan is now weaker than all of the Cell juniors, during the training prior to the Tournament. He stop training for seven years straight. And only started and maintain his training for about 10 days prior to the world martial arts tournament. Gohan lost over 3/4 of his SSJ2 Power as a child. Many fans don’t realize how strong Goten & Trunks truly were. The battle with Gohan Vegeta & No. 18 are evident of their Power. Especially vs. No. 18. They could’ve killed her. It’s right there. But many fans don’t see what goin on. It’s not up for interpretation. It’s all about understanding what’s happening in real time.
Fun fact. Goku had the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan when Goten was conceived. Vegeta didn’t. I’m thinking on a biological level here. I believe Goten has more potential than Trunks.

Since Goku, Vegeta and Gohan have their own unique transformations now, the Super Saiyan forms have just sadly been left behind. I really hope Goten, Trunks, Pan and Bulla continue the Saiyan forms. Maybe even get a Super version of Super Saiyan 4 and possibly a 5 in the future.
What I don’t get is why people had a problem with them going super saiysn so young. As things progress in the real world things become easier.. just like how the Saiyans developed knowledge on super saiyan . For example.. it’s easier for our generation to get healthy and strong compared to our parents. More gyms have been established and have become accessible at a low cost. Even fitness knowledge has improved so it’s easier for us to have strength and nutrition. Apps these days legit give you individual programs
To tell you the truth I always like Goten and Trunks or at least Goten and Trunks in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT because honestly I think Dragon Ball super didn't do the characters any good. But I just always figured that Goten and Trunks are wasted characters especially since Goten and Trunks achieve Super Saiyan during times of peace and when they didn't have to train to defeat a tyrant at least up till Majin Buu showed up. But I never really liked the point that Goten and Trunks can only go to higher levels of when they refused into Gotenks when Goten and Trunks alone they diffused should have at least been able to activate Super Saiyan 3 individually. I mean it's talented as they were and as resilient as their bodies were I have a feeling the Super Saiyan 3 wouldn't have been as much of a problem for them to handle. Are they should have at least been able to have retained the knowledge of how to achieve Super Saiyan 3 on their own and trained do you have achieved it on their own. But it definitely appreciate what GT did with Goten and Trunks a lot better they were grown up it became their own character ain't worth the comedy relief that they were in Dragon Ball super with suddenly they forgot how to fuse during the superhero movie and became the failed version of the fusion always thought that was bad writing on their part. But at the end of the day if Goten and Trunks had been properly utilized these two would have soloed Dragon Ball.
And then we have DBS Bulla, with S-cells of the second strongest saiyan in existence, probably with god ki already in them... who will get most likely the Pan treatment.
I think part of a parents strength passes down 1. Goku was made by average Saiyan while the stronger Vegeta had a king for a father 2. Gohan made by a strong Goku and able to hurt Raditz who trained 3. Goten was made While Goku was a Super Saiyan and close to Trunks who was forced to train. that's the evidence I use as proof.
Goten and Trunks benefited from something Gohan did not, superior genetics, it's safe to say both Goku and Vegeta's genes were superior to saiyan saga scaling, so, i expect their base energy not be somehow to be inherited.
Goten and Trunks inherited SSJ with their genes because while they got conceived their fathers were SSJ. Goku was transformed SSJ when he had sex with Chi Chi (Hentai manga source).
It does make sense why they are stronger. When gohan was conceived Goku couldn’t go super saiyan. So when goten was conceived and could go super saiyan, I think those SS s-cells during conception made them genetically gifted. Same with trunks if I remember correctly, trunks was conceived after hitting SS.

what hurts your theory is that fact that both boys dont possess the same latent potential as gohan. For example, future trunks was by far more serious than present trunks, based on how hard he trained, yet future trunks was never able to surpassed present gohan in power during the cell games. Gohan possessed the latent potential to achieve a higher saiyan form much faster than future trunks. This same example, applies to goten. Goten has talent as a saiyain hybrid, but he has no where near the same potential gohan, which may explains why Toriyama didn't fancy to .give more acknowledgement to goten's power compared to trunks and gohan.

Goten clearly wasn’t just with his mom sparring in the woods. He too could withstand 100 times gravity if he were placed in the same room. I’m not saying that Gohan couldn’t, but with 7 years of slacking off, he’s not going to have a great session compared to Goten, Trunks and Vegeta.

Goten and Trunks are powerful,but very naive when it comes to battle. That is why they were not chosen to compete in the Tournament Of Power. Yes they have ridiculous power scaling. Yeah Goten does seem to have an edge over Gohan and Goku and it makes you wonder why Future Trunks wasn't that strong at such a young age. Some may say it was because he and Goten were born after Goku and Vegeta went SSJ but that wouldn't be the case for Kid Trunks. Vegeta left earth to train in space like a year and a half before the battle and didn't go SSJ until sometime after that point which means Trunks was at least conceived before he left and thus before Vegeta went SSJ. I feel Goten and Kid Trunks ability to go SSJ is just a plot hole that wasn't addressed until Super with the whole "tingly back" thing.

since i was a kid i always wished for dragon ball if it ever continued they give us goten and trucks as the new rivals/ protags ... well that dream went to shamles when super came out xD

Since Goku, Vegeta and Gohan have their own unique transformations now, the Super Saiyan forms have just sadly been left behind. I really hope Goten, Trunks, Pan and Bulla continue the Saiyan forms. Maybe even get a Super version of Super Saiyan 4 and possibly a 5 in the future.
What I don’t get is why people had a problem with them going super saiysn so young. As things progress in the real world things become easier.. just like how the Saiyans developed knowledge on super saiyan . For example.. it’s easier for our generation to get healthy and strong compared to our parents. More gyms have been established and have become accessible at a low cost. Even fitness knowledge has improved so it’s easier for us to have strength and nutrition. Apps these days legit give you individual programs

To tell you the truth I always like Goten and Trunks or at least Goten and Trunks in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT because honestly I think Dragon Ball super didn't do the characters any good.
But I just always figured that Goten and Trunks are wasted characters especially since Goten and Trunks achieve Super Saiyan during times of peace and when they didn't have to train to defeat a tyrant at least up till Majin Buu showed up.
But I never really liked the point that Goten and Trunks can only go to higher levels of when they refused into Gotenks when Goten and Trunks alone they diffused should have at least been able to activate Super Saiyan 3 individually.
I mean it's talented as they were and as resilient as their bodies were I have a feeling the Super Saiyan 3 wouldn't have been as much of a problem for them to handle.
Are they should have at least been able to have retained the knowledge of how to achieve Super Saiyan 3 on their own and trained do you have achieved it on their own.
But it definitely appreciate what GT did with Goten and Trunks a lot better they were grown up it became their own character ain't worth the comedy relief that they were in Dragon Ball super with suddenly they forgot how to fuse during the superhero movie and became the failed version of the fusion always thought that was bad writing on their part.
But at the end of the day if Goten and Trunks had been properly utilized these two would have soloed Dragon Ball.

I think part of a parents strength passes down 1. Goku was made by average Saiyan while the stronger Vegeta had a king for a father 2. Gohan made by a strong Goku and able to hurt Raditz who trained 3. Goten was made While Goku was a Super Saiyan and close to Trunks who was forced to train. that's the evidence I use as proof.
Goten and Trunks benefited from something Gohan did not, superior genetics, it's safe to say both Goku and Vegeta's genes were superior to saiyan saga scaling, so, i expect their base energy not be somehow to be inherited.

Goten and Trunks inherited SSJ with their genes because while they got conceived their fathers were SSJ. Goku was transformed SSJ when he had sex with Chi Chi (Hentai manga source).

It does make sense why they are stronger. When gohan was conceived Goku couldn’t go super saiyan. So when goten was conceived and could go super saiyan, I think those SS s-cells during conception made them genetically gifted. Same with trunks if I remember correctly, trunks was conceived after hitting SS.

what hurts your theory is that fact that both boys dont possess the same latent potential as gohan.
For example, future trunks was by far more serious than present trunks, based on how hard he trained, yet future trunks was never able to surpassed present gohan in power during the cell games. Gohan possessed the latent potential to achieve a higher saiyan form much faster than future trunks.
This same example, applies to goten. Goten has talent as a saiyain hybrid, but he has no where near the same potential gohan, which may explains why Toriyama didn't fancy to .give more acknowledgement to goten's power compared to trunks and gohan.

They were fighting all out, resting and repeating the cycle until they were ready to leave. Present Gohan had better teachers, more resources and actually relaxed until it was time to train/fight. Toriyama made it clear that age and experience aren’t really a major factor if fighters aren’t smarter with their training.

Something only Goku or Vegeta would have been capable of enduring without injury. Kid Trunks could’ve been training for 5 years straight and Goten was fighting with him often. Goten clearly wasn’t just with his mom sparring in the woods. He too could withstand 100 times gravity if he were placed in the same room. I’m not saying that Gohan couldn’t, but with 7 years of slacking off, he’s not going to have a great session compared to Goten, Trunks and Vegeta.

Goten and Trunks are powerful,but very naive when it comes to battle. That is why they were not chosen to compete in the Tournament Of Power. Yes they have ridiculous power scaling. That is because they are suppose to be the next generation. It is Only fitting that they will have powers equivalent to Goku and Vegeta if written to be the strongest later on.

Yeah Goten does seem to have an edge over Gohan and Goku and it makes you wonder why Future Trunks wasn't that strong at such a young age. Some may say it was because he and Goten were born after Goku and Vegeta went SSJ but that wouldn't be the case for Kid Trunks. Vegeta left earth to train in space like a year and a half before the battle and didn't go SSJ until sometime after that point which means Trunks was at least conceived before he left and thus before Vegeta went SSJ. I feel Goten and Kid Trunks ability to go SSJ is just a plot hole that wasn't addressed until Super with the whole "tingly back" thing.
I dont think so I think the only time Vegeta would have been over his obsession of obtaining ssj which goku already got, that is the only time I see him breaking to a point where he decided to smash bulma, dude was far too down in the dumps and determined to get to ssj to conceive Trunks any time before that.

Now again Vegeta left to train in space roughly a year and a half before the androids arrived which puts that around the same time Trunks was conceived. So Vegeta and Bulma got together and had Trunks then Vegeta left shortly after meaning he still wasn't a Super Saiyan.
