Today we are building the Fujimi 1/24 Garage and Tools kit - this was recommended to me by the awesome Jun over at Jun's Mini Garage as it is what his garage is based upon!

1:24 Garage and Tools (Diorama)
Wide selection of Garage Tools in 1:24 scale and the Garage building Diorama together in 1 box
Fujimi do a wide range of tool sets for dioramas as well as 3 other versions of this kit (one with just the tools, another with just the diorama and a final 'antique' version of the diorama.
the display case can also be combined with another one to make a larger case.
This kit was purchased from Kent Models.
I will also add another of the Garage diorama sets to double the size - that one was bought from Hobby Link Japan.

I definitely want to add some weathering in the next part - what do you think the kit needs to look more realistic?

I think with your imagination, Thomas, the more you look at the garage, things will pop out which you can weather, rearrange or remove which will improve your diorama. You are doing a lovely job and the diorama will tell you- so to speak- what it needs or doesn't need. Your'e a sharp cookie, so that's my take on it. Best wishes from old Virginia! Cork

Looking good. I love these kits but to feel like a real garage, at least all the ones I have been in, you need 4 more sets of just the tools. Lol. That will fill up those tool cheats.
Cheers mate. I get your point - the set does come with a tonne more tools and I still have some left over from my rally mechanics set too - I think I might try to keep it unrealistically tidy though!
The detail you've put into this is brilliant. All the tiny little tools look fantastic! The whole thing is just great 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hi! I have the garage set and a mechanic set in my stash. In your video you have the floor and walls. Are these parts missing from my set or is this a separate set? You can make it yourself from plastic sheet, but if it's missing from the garage set I'll ask for a replacement. Thank you for your videos, they have often helped me and improved my techniques.

There are a few versions of the set - Garage and Tools, just the Tools, and just the garage. I guess you have the set with just the tools.

As this is 1/24 scale garage kit would I be wrong in assuming my 1/24 scale mini model would fit the garage?
1/24 scale models are perfect for this. You'd fit at least one car on each base. If it's an old Austin Mini you're talking about, you may fit two!
